Well its Monday and I don't see the thread yet so I've given myself the liberty of starting it this week.

It looks to be a tough one but I think we'll take a point on the road.
1-1 unless we somehow acquire a weekend loan of Adebayor who just tears Robinson up........

Let Robinson be Robinson! If we do, we win by 4 goals. Having said that, I think it's time for a draw. 1-1 sounds good to me. AJ opens his account.

Don't you love it that we're playing FOOTBALL?

Blackburn hasn't looked that good, I would be happy to share some points on the road here but if we play just 80% of how we've shown in the last two at home I think all three points are there to be taken.

Blackburn has been anything, but consistent this season. I think Fulham is fully capable of going to Ewood Park and leaving with all three points. The Fulham defense will be tested, but I believe Fulham's midfield will control the flow of the match.

Interested to see Zamora and AJ act II commence. No prediction on the scoreline, but hoping for the best along with possibly a Dempsey appearance...

On the Rovers side of it, Philippe Christanval appears to be on trial with Blackburn for the next few weeks. I was wondering when I would see his name in the press again.

Not sure what Blackburn team will show up, the one that beat Everton away or the one that got hammered by Spam and Arse. They obviously miss Friedal and Bentley, but still have quite a bit of offensive quality w/Gamst Pederson, Santa Cruz, Roberts, et al. There will be goals and a 2-2 scoreline is the prediction.

They also have one of the best finishers in the league in Benni McCarthy rotting on the bench. I thought Paul Ince would be a very good manager, but between that and his buying the worst keeper in the Premier League, I'm starting to have my doubts.

I'd like to see F5 on the scoresheet. I'm saying 2-0 to the good guys with F5 getting his first of the year and a late goal from Simon Davies

I think Blackburn are in trouble - Ince is inexperienced and has made the same mistake as Sanchez by putting in CC players. Fulham look good and most importantly are playing with a belief that they've not has since JT. I think this will be a good result for us as, we have too much for the poorest Blackburn side I've seen since they came up with us.

The Setanta site says it will be live on Setanta XTra and shown again on tape delay on Setanta proper.

I've got Directv and have FSC @ 619, Gol @ 620 & Setanta @ 621 ... i'll check the listings tonight when I get home to see when Setanta "says" they're going to show the game.
Hopefully we don't get hosed like last week and have to catch the game in re-run the following Monday.

Welcome to the site mchantry16, noticed your location is Kent, did you have the same Setanta issues last week in the UK as everyone over here did?

I am going to be a bit pessimistic and say we are due for a fulhamish moment this weekend. I am hoping as always for a win, but I will be happy if they just continue to play the way they are playing. If they do that they will get good results this year and relegation will not be an issue. I also would like to see a bit more dempsy in a creative attacking role, but I don't see him getting in if the team continues to play the way they are.

As far as Dempsey is concerned, I think we'll see more of him as the season goes on. Roy has a plan for him or he wouldn't have kept him around (seeing as he hasn't been reserved when it comes to keeping or bringing in who he wants and offletting those he doesn't need).
It seems like Roy built this year's squad to be able to deal with injuries or fatigue and despite Clint's lack of blazing speed he's cleaver with the ball and good in an attacking mid-field role and he'll get his chances.

Murphy will wear down from time to time. Zamora and Bullard will lose form. That's when Clint will get his shot, and I'm sure he'll do well.

It was listed as an afternoon replay on the regular Setanta channel (621) but I don't remember what time it will be airing. I will check again tonight to see if the games on 670 have been listed yet.

As for the game itself all I can say is COYW's!

I will once again miss the chat room for the live game but in return I will be enjoying some of the finest girls U10 rec soccer Southwestern Indiana has to offer.
