Not from me. Allow me to generate my West Ham in financial trouble chorus line:

You may remember that West Ham's principal owner is the head of a major Icelandic bank that took a cross-body block after playing in the sub-prime mortgage league.

You may also remember that there was so little money to spare that the Hammers couldn't even get decent charter air accomodations during their pre-season tour ot the U S of A.

You may also have noticed that there's a bit of a player fire sale going on at West Ham, and that this contributed to Curbishly walking out.

Well, here comes the next installment:

Yep, their kit sponsor and primary partner is going tits-up, leaving the Spammers 5m quid in the hole.

So, let me see ... illegal transfers two seasons ago; sweetheart deals for illegally signed players last season; gross financial instability this season ... do you suppose anyone over at Lancaster Gate is planning any fines? any points deductions?

Naw, of course not. That would be unfair to the fans. Right Leeds fans? Right Luton fans? Right Bournemouth fans? Right Rotherham fans?

I especially liked the comment that went "if this committee had been reviewing the illegal transfers, we'd have deducted points." Yeah.
