So week three had some surprises:

    Arsenal 3 Newcastle 0
    Bolton 0 West Brom 0
    Everton 0 Portsmouth 3
    Hull City 0 Wigan 5
    Middlesbrough 2 Stoke 1
    West Ham 4 Blackburn 1

The standout is obviously the Hull drubbing by Wigan. It was their first big defeat and I have a warning for them, there will be plenty more where that came from my friends.

I see some of the guys on TIFF are going on about it and how that particular result reflects badly on us. I don't agree, I think our match was down to bad timing (their first ever prem game!) and a very bad decision by Konch that led to their winner.

Enough about that, surprisingly Everton lose to Pompey 3-0 at home...WOW, is someone now missing AJ?

Oh, and a good result for us...that West Ham Blackburn one that is.

Yeah, I can see Blackburn's season being a mighty struggle with Bentley gone and the Paul Ince (a relative newcomer to the managerial game) taking over.

CSKA London and Spurs still tied 1-1, hopefully the scoreline remains.

I know any team can have the occasional howler but Everton looked truly awful yesterday. The 3-0 score does not tell the story of how bad the Everton defense looked yesterday. It could have easily been 5-0 In my opinion with room for 1 or 2 more. So far this season they have given up 7 goals in 3 league matches against Blackburn, WBA and Pomey.
