Here's some enlightening discussion about what's going on in the Dem party on the eve of the convention:
TalkLeft: Some Comic Relief And A Real Problem

Unlike many -or most- pol sites, the real meat of TalkLeft articles is found in the comments, AND they dont make me want to puke.... unlike those on Kos or HuffPo.

    The FreedomCage is ready, too.

    - Watch for the marchers with the pro-Revolution/ Communism banners. I dont know if they are in the vid's ...aint gonna watch 'em. They {and those speakers} make me ill.

Elsewhere on the site, a send-up of the convention: "Denver '08 - A Mile high, an inch deep"

Doesnt anyone have some serious stuff from the op-side? I aint gonna put up every freakin' Dem for McCain PUMA interview.

So I guess, in the interest of 'Fair and Balanced', here's the TalkLeft link again.

    Michelle's Speech

    I give her a 9 out of 10

She's polished her presentation skills from the last time I saw her speak.

Her facial expressions were better, her message {Getting to know us} was totally on point for the introduction phase. Her wording and anecdotes, except on Barack, could largely have been given by any political view. Cant believe Carville wanted her to do a bash-Bush. That starts tomorrow and would have turned off the 'undecideds'.

And I said it was perfect for the first night of the convention.. and why it was.

    Nonetheless, I appreciate the echo.

Reading and sifting, I think I was right about Michelle's speech and the overall effect of the first night program. It was really 'Warm, fuzzy' stuff.. perfectly done for the target audience.

Rest of you check the 'moonbats descend' link above to see 'Recreate 68' images.

But the point is... why? What happened because of that was a perfectly good liberal candidate got beat by Nixon. Now for you young libs that was a good thing. Because Nixon signed into law a fair amount of the last of the great society programs. And of course he opened up China which set every conservative jaw aching.

In the end, though, it made Ronald Reagan really attractive to middle america.
