Intro

    Hi everybody,

    I have had a life long passion for soccer/football, both in playing (almost 30yrs!) and from following the Sting (NASL) back in day. Like many, started following Fulham the last several years due to the Yanks on the team. Due to Geographics I tend to follow the Chicago Fire but my main interest is the USMNT. Recently subscribed to FSC (Finally!)...not sure what I was waiting for after all these years. I also tend favor the EPL vs. other leagues and enjoy how the EPL announcers call the game vs. in the MLS.

    Bullhead, couldn't agree more about the announcers doing the premiership matches. Quite a few Chicago area based fans here (including the founding father himself ChicagoTom) so welcome and enjoy the site.

    You will see that there are a lot of people on this site that have the same interests. You will find yourself on this site more than you think because you may find interest in some other topics and/or reading the banter between Fog and Don.

    I remember the Sting and those black and gold uniforms. I was a Surf fan. I saw someone wearing a CA Surf t-shirt (it may have been at the Galaxy game) about a year ago and stopped him to say that shirt brings back a lot of memories.
