I'd be down to haul my arse somewhere for an early morning pint to see a match. Where abouts in LA are you Kansas? This weekend and Thanksgiving are the only 2 saturdays the team I coach isn't playing until basically the holidays. However, I'm going to Mexico this weekend and will miss the Reds game. Realistically, sometime early in the new year would be the earliest feesible time, but count me in for sure.

I live in South Central L.A., near USC, but I can meet up anywhere. Just let me know the time and place, and I'm there, dude.

    Hey CaliFulhamians ;)

I will be in Pico Rivera and/or Chino the weekend before Christmas. Anyone want to get together for a game? Fulham plays Wigan on 12/22. Would be cool to watch a match with you guys...that is, if it is broadcast anywhere :D!

    Ta!

Terri; taking the familia to Oregon (hitting the road on the 21st) for christmas at my brother's casa. Can't imagine the Wigan game will be broadcast, but keep your fingers crossed. Have a great trip, we live about half way off the 60 freeway you and yours will be traveling between Pico and Chino. The weatherpeople are already saying this winter will be a dry one so you'll have to suffer with days ranging between 70-80 degrees

Terri, I'd be down to chill with you if we can find a pub or establishment showing the game. Fernando, do you usually catch the games anywhere in particular?

Shoutout to Kansas, Fernando72, EricD, LaxAttack, Archie, Tim, and any other LA area posters I've forgotten (plus whomever might be in town for the holidays). The Wigan match will be shown on tape delay at 9 AM (left coast time). Since Archie suggested it, and Terri and her hubby from the ATL are willing to drive, plus a few live fairly close to Studio City, hooking up at The Fox and Hounds (www.thefoxandhounds.com) seems to be the call. What a great way to avoid the mall for an hour or two on the Sat. before Christmas. I've been there once and its a quality pub.

Sadly I have a previous engagement w/a pair of skis in Central Oregon (Mt. Bachelor) and will not be in attendance, but will help spread the word, and promise to be there for a game in the new year.

To save on pm's, e-mails, etc.. confirm by posting here. The answers to Terri's questions are; yes, yes, and yes. The tv listings for next weekend aren't posted on thefoxandhounds.com yet, I'll double check and put out a reminder. They open (depending on the schedule around 6:30 am) early, and the food was excellent the time I went.

OK people, sometimes in life you have to dust yourself off and get your ass back on that horse. It's time to hit the Fox and Hounds in beautiful Studio City this Sat. (already checked their site, and the game is listed at 9 AM). I'm sad I won't be there, but hope everyone who is in town can make it. The first round is on me the next time we can plan a match.
