It took 295 posts on this thread until we somebody could actually report on a signing. I guess that means that is we want 4-5 players we need about 1200-1500 posts. Get busy every body!

    according to Sky:

Fulham are close to signing defender Brede Hangeland, according to reports in Norway.

The Norway international currently plays for Danish side FC Copenhagen, but is rumoured to be on his way to Fulham.

Hangeland joined Copenhagen from Viking in 2006 and is under contract with the club until 2009.

During his time at Viking he was coached by new Fulham boss Roy Hodgson and a reunion now appears to be on the cards.

Reports in Norway claim that the Premier League strugglers are willing to pay £3.5million for the centre-half, who has previously attracted interest from the likes of Newcastle United and Aston Villa.

The 26-year-old is thought to be undergoing a medical in London ahead of completing a move to the Cottagers.

Hodgson is starting to step up his plans to strengthen Fulham's squad after also agreeing a fee to sign striker Marlon King from Watford.

hmm....why don't we just link us to ever striker out there! let's field 11 strikers on the pitch

A number of Premier League clubs are tracking Hertha Berlin star Marko Pantelic, skysports.com understand.

The Croatian international has been with Hertha for just over two years following his move from Crvena Zvezda.

32 goals in 75 games have followed and now he is known to bee keen on a switch to England.

Pantelic has 18-months left on his current contract in the capital - but he is hoping Hertha will let him leave during the current transfer window.

The likes of West Ham, Fulham and Portsmouth are all believed to have scouted him in recent months and they could be tempted into a making a move for a player rated as one of the best foreigners in the Bundesliga.

Hangeland is 6'5", so he'd certainly add some size to our lineup.

Bring in the big Norwegian, either Pantelic (Croatian players look good these days) or Cousin (who is having a good year with Rangers), and then I would like us to find a quick, Latin American or Spanish or Portuguese midfielder, who will create opportunities, not just look for them.

    I'd be happy with that.

Hangeland would be great. He's 6'5". That means no Stefanovic or Boca though in the future. Or a rotation between Hughes and Boca and Stefanovic.

Pantelic is really good as well, but he might be too good... Chelsea were linked to him earlier as a potential Jan. pickup.

I'd have to say that Landon is a whiney little bitch has never had a BIG game that mattered and would just be another NOBODY in the true top class soccer world....

Sorry... I know I'm not allowed in the footie boards, : )

But i like team players... not BITCHES.

there might be room on the womans team tho.

Smokin' I like saying that also. But nobody has brought up Donovan for about two weeks [or 150 posts], so the point is kinda moot.

    Very entertaining, though.

So has anyone heard anything about Eddie Johnson? Could some other London team have been looking at him?

Everything I'm reading is still saying EJ is still a go. Makes sense really, his value isn't going to be a whole lot for this year considering he hasn't played in months. It comes next year with a full offseason of training.

Side note sounds like a good chance Feilhaber goes to San Jose in MLS on an initial loan deal.

It feels good to get that first transfer in. Now lets hope everthing falls into place with all of our needs.

For all the haters, King has got to be an upgrade from our current strike force. He might not be the answer, but I think he's a quality pick up in the January window.
