I am going. Originally I was not allowed, but a change in circumstance has freed me up. If it is not too late to alter your plans I would like to meet you.

    Regards

would love to attend with you two! Have fun and have a pint in my absence.

I can't get an answer on the offal message board to this; perhaps our Brits can help. Is GJ going to broadcast the CC match tomorrow on Fulham TV?

I have no idea if the deranged rantings of Jim will fill the interweb tommorow. Sorry Don, I'm about as much use as a chocolate teapot. However, I will ask around tomorrow morning and try to post a response.

How reliable are sources like fulhamweb .com?

They do not list Voltz as one of Sanchez'a possible selections.

If this is the case it looks like LS rates Omozusi above Voltz.

I hope they rest a few players for the weekend and give some of the new guys some work. Hopefully, we can get thru the game with a win and no injures. I see you winning (2-1)

if ls starts baird, its official that he plays favorites and we're doomed for a repeat of cookie. even howard of wsd spent a good 30seconds ripping on him.

and subsequently my respect for him will plummet. even those chic glasses wont help him.

    2-0 fulham!!!

He may not have the silkiest skills, but I think he makes up for it with passion and commitment.
Gets beat a hell of a lot less from what I remember.

I'm never normally one for player bashing but I really don't think Baird is up to it.

I haven't seen anything from Niemi that would qualify him as "world class"...I think they should give Keller a shot today. Keller has been "world class" for years. Granted he is getting older but after the softies Niemi has let by the past few games, why not?

I also think Keller should get a run out today. Niemi has not been all that great this season and I think Keller deserves a chance to play. Granted, the defense in front of Niemi has not been that great this season, he could also be doing a better job.

That being said, it is important for players to know that there is always competition for places in the starting XI. If Keller plays and does well I do NOT see why he would not get a shot Saturday against Chelsea.

Regarding Baird and to some extents, Niemi, you are either part of the problem or part of the solution. If the old Antti shows up he would be part of the solution but he has played passively in goal and has not been the same this season as he was last. That needs to change or he will and should find himself on the bench.

This guy has gotten a free pass from virtually everyone and he needs to be held accountable for his play both in good times and in bad. Right now, he is NOT playing well and Sanchez must let him know that Keller is waiting in the wings and in fact Sanchez should play Keller today.

Baird gets the blame for roughly 90% of the follies or mishaps that take place in defence, but I agree that Niemi has been woeful in goal. How on Earth Petrov's first goal got past him is beyond me. Keller is not the answer to Fulham's goalkeeper troubles, but a solid performance from him against Bolton should start to raise some questions about which keeper deserves to start. Hopefully that will give Niemi the proper kick up the arse that so many supporters believe he needs.

Should be a great match and it pains me to say that I will miss it. Shame it isn't on TV either.

Oh well... Come On You Whites!!!

    Prediction: Fulham 2-1 Bolton

I don't know if he is playing favorites or he just rates Voltz so lowly that he feels he has no other choice. The January transfer window will be enlightening.

    Keller in goal. Baird starting.

    I guess 1 out of 2 ain't bad.

Keller has had some great saves in the first half.

exactly. no need to pull any punches on this one...fulham sucks ass right now.

i will continue to enjoy the "exciting" matches they are producing, but, as chicagotom's article so eloquently describes, the table doesn't lie.

they must do better than a 2-1 home defeat to bottom-dwelling bolton. for all the bluster dispersed by mr. sanchez regarding a cup run, they sure as hell didn't show up for it today.

i'm in sour spirits, and very pissed (but not the drunk kind).

Wow, I just saw the starting line-up and I certainly would not have expected that.
