Not to make light of recent events, but I see a Volzy start in his future.

no matter where you put him, he'll bust his ass for you. What a good guy. I really will hate to see the day he leaves.

Sadly, he could be gone by next season. I really hope he isn't, but it may be a possibility unless Hodgson sees him as a good backup defender. Volzy is the last one on the team that can really make me feel like this is the Fulham I fell in love with, minus the Yanks, of course.

I don't want him to go.

Everybody loves zee German (gung-ho on the field, self-deprecating borderline eccentric off). A team player through and through, but spot duty is probably something he's not willing to put up with anymore. Wouldn't be surprised to see Cookie giving him a call from Coventry or even a return to the Bundesliga.

Ich liebe Moritz Volz (studying for a german exam I have to take tomorrow :p)

I honestly think I would cry if Roy sells him...and I totally agree, he's one of the last ones from the Fulham team that I fell in love with...

ahem... this might be sacrilege but Volzy is about the most 'American' of the non-yank players in the Prem.

Come to think of it, Maria, Heidar was too.

I agree and disagree with that...

Mortiz is quite American, and I love that, but Heiðar...I think he's just a good old' viking. When he played in Iceland football was a beautyful game, it used to be very physical, and not for anyone to play. Its changing a lot right now, wich I think is kind of sad because I will miss players like Heiðar and Hermann Hreiðarsson...

that's a couple of really tough boys, Maria. So if you want your baby to be as hard as a wall, as big as a wall, and just as tough to intimidate as a wall, you make sure his initials are HH right? 8)

I wish people would stop having an orgasm over this guy. He's not that good. I don't care if he plays umteen millions of positions, he doesn't play any of them particulary well. Defensively he's our weaklink when he plays at RB. Sure he can attack, but we could find hundreds of RB's that can attack well. Get rid of Volz.
