I know this has been mentioned here, but who the hell is airness? I cant even read their site - it is in French.

I cant find a Fulham jersey to save my life. I would like to buy the kit for the next season that should be unveiled soon correct? So if we are getting a new kit sponsor for next year we should have already heard about it?

Come on Fulham - this Airness company seems like a joke.

    My sources tell me:

LG will be our Kit Sponsor
    Nike will make our Kits

Agreed. The quality of the Airness stuff isn't great (and that's not to mention the fiasco with availability at the beginning of the year); Nike's is much better.

    Good news.

The acquisition of Lee is obviously connected to the LG deal though. We haven't named a permanent manager, we've signed a contract with a Korean company, and the one player we've obviously set our sights on early just happens to be Korean??

Not that I blame the club, if its a lucrative deal and LG was adamant about getting a Korean then that’s fine. There are some decent Korean players out there to be had.

sounds similar to the deal Everton had a few years back when they signed with Chang beer as a sponsor and had a Chinese player on the books shortly afterwards.

Hell, if he can play ...

American Airlines are only a "bit sponsor" and we ended up with 3 bloody Yanks + Mike!

How can any manager take a player seriously that is bought in to please a sponsor? There is always the hope that he is actually talented and can play on merit.

Yes, theres a connection... but it isnt necessarily a direct one, if you believe what Lee says, as reported by your own foremost authority.

Whether there ARE decent -for Fulham- players out there might be debatable.

If his style of play doesnt mesh well with what Fulham's trying to do, we might never find out just how good this guy is. For now, he seems to be a good bet based on name and drawing power.

So for LG, it's a win-win...they're going great guns in marketing in US, and I presume England, anyhow.

If they can hitch themselves to a star in Korea, they end up in a symbiotic exponential return on sport-branding and promotion.

Hyundai must be turning slightly green.

Exactly what I thought of GE's when I was a kid... you are a kid.

Billions have been wasted on logo/brand/naming changes in the last 30 or 40 years with most companies that have tried it returning to nearly the original.

Life is Good... deal with it.

A question similar to the one I'd like to ask Alan Pardew over a pint someday regarding a potential investor and a couple of Argies.

    Nike Kit

Does any one else find it suspicious that we are doing a pre season tour in the far east aswell. Plus lee must be part of a sponsor deal because we where trying to sign him when we had no manager. Its an internal deal for sure. Sanchez knew nothing about it. Probably just aswell the mans a moron! hehe
Update us on events with the new kit :)!

    Well LG is a go.
    http://www.fulhamfc.com/Club/News/NewsA ... ement.aspx

    What kills me is this:
Mohamed Al Fayed, Chairman of Fulham Football Club, said:
“LG Electronics is a market leader in the field of electronics and telecommunications and I am delighted it has committed its support to both Fulham and Harrods. Ten years ago I invested in the Club and have seen us rise from the second division to become a firm fixture in the Premiership. "

So 16th by 1 point is a firm these days???!!!

I don't know if I'd say that, but staying up for the last six years isn't bad. (I think Leeds supporters would be happy to be in our shoes at this point.)

Anyway, now that LG is a done deal, can we hurry up and dump Airness?

One thing that occurs to me. LG is a competitior of Samsung(scum sponser). LG is unquestionably cooler. Just one more reason were better than the Chels.

    RE: Nike Kit

I happy about LG becoming the kit sponsor because their colors match Fulham's colors. There is noting uglier than an otherwise nice kit spoiled by a logo on the front with clashing colors. For example, I can't remember which team, but some blue-and-white team had plastered the pink T-Mobile logo on their shirt, and it looked terrible.
