Avatar Donwloading (or is it uploading these days)

Regardless, I have a photo that I whole-heartedly and unashamedly LOVE, that for whatever reason I cannot up/download to use as my avatar.

Hhhhhhhheeeelllppppp.

When I try, it says something along the lines of incorrect file ending (can't remember exactly), but I am using .jpeg and .gif, and I have shrunk it down to fit on the head of a pin, so I don't understand!!!

 

The only thing I can think of is maybe the file is corrupt or something. You could try cutting and pasting it, and then saving it as another name?

Im sure that helped absolutely none, but I hope someone can help you get it working.

Look at it {filename} close. right click file icon, click properties.

Does it have a double extension? Like xxx.jpeg.jpg
