I was on there earlier today, when I could access, and it said there were 2,100 people on the site. Yes, I'd say there is some excitement. Hopefully, most of the rumours come to fruition.

Crockety is one way to look at it, but I think Cookie and I see the value in what could be referred to as "seasoned" strikers, who know how to, and have proven that thay can, put the ball in the back of the net.

I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Actually that would be crochety, but I must admit that when I saw that quote I thought it was time for the muppets to saddle up!

I'm looking forward to our forward line, and I know that young Mr. Routledge will be loving what can happen to his crosses!

It's a good thing too, because we've all seen what happens when Routledge tries to go for goal.

by-the-bye, I haven't seen this on any of the three transfer threads -- and I see why Ms. DCH is bugged by that fact -- but the tribunal hearing for Dempsey has been scheduled for "next week" according to Soccernet.

According to Coleman on the Fulham web site, they hope to have a deal done by the middle of the transfer window for Gooch. He said that they are close to agreeing to a transfer price for him with Lienge.

Hello Montella. I am now in the firm belief that Fulham is perhaps the best looking team in the Premiership. 8)

Montella has the hair I had when I was in Junior high...oh those silly Italians.

I won't get excited just yet...but i will be at Leicester and I seriously hope Montella gets to play.

Man, I love this time of year...it's good to see Cookie working the window. Can't wait to see how it all plays out. I like the addition of Montella. We've needed another goal scorer and he's proven to be a great one over the years. What he may of lost thru time and injuries - is surely made up in experience.

If Dempsey gets thru the tribunal, and is working that attacking MF and Rout throwing in the crosses....Montella and all of strikers should get plenty of chances and our goal differential won't be (-10).

Don, that's not a fair question to ask. It's like asking a parent to name their favorite kid.

32 years old... but... we know some players, specifically in the white, who seem to have gotten stronger since that age.[/quote]
