Wasn't Helguson supposed to be suspended?

The second goal - a running commentary from the mind of the defence:

    mine

    yours

    mine

    bugger.

Christanval looked like bamby on ice a couple of times but apart from that the defence looked okish. We really need some midfield and some pace up front. On the plus side 2-2!!!

Franck Quedreue sure found the best time to score his first goal for Fulham. Considering the turn of events at Charlton and all the momentum they seemed to have going into the match, a draw was good for Fulham -- but I thought we played well enough to win.

The problem was that our defenders managed to hand Charlton two goals in a gift box with ribbons and a greeting card attached. Niemi was at fault for the first goal, and the second goal... well, I'm not sure what on earth happened there. Bent did well to take advantage of that mistake.

No matter, we got a point out of an away game and overall, I can say I'm satisfied with that. Cookie will have to work on getting his defenders sorted out, though.

Next up: a short trip to the Stamford Public Library to face CSKA London. One of the biggest matches on our schedule. Not sure if we'll get a draw a la Reading, but we better be up for it in this derby match.

If we could have pulled a win off we would have been in the top 10. Now worst case it looks like we could be 2 places about the relegation zone (15th) if we don't upset Chelski. . I really wish we could get some better results than these last 2 draws. I won't complain though with all of our injuries. Maybe we will get a couple players in January. :)

God that was a nail-biting match! I'm glad we got the draw, it seemed like we deserved at least that, but our defense really let us down. If we play like that against Chavski we'll get thrashed. Still somehow playing our neighbors gets us all fired up, so I hope that's the case on Saturday.

    And two goals, right?

Keep on it and keep it on each match, no washing it, of course/

I have to say even this morning I am still haunted by the Charlton goal that M.Dent just tapped in. What on this green earth were they thinking? Clear the f'ing ball!!! Should have been 2-0 us. On to the Bridge!

Our fans had a great time yesterday, especially after the equalizer! I picked up Spencer from the Golden Lion and we made our way to Putney Pier to take the Boat Trip to Greenwich! Spencer was suffering from some major jet lag but he stayed up and survived the night!

Although a win would've been better, we are working with a heavily injured team at the moment and with the new manager syndrome affecting Charlton a draw is still a good result...especially an injury time equalizer!

HH didn't have the best of matches although he was all in since he won't be played vs. Chelsea. What a difference Claus made when he came on...its when he came on you could tell that Volzy for all his hard work, just isn't a midfielder.

Another point in the bag and time to keep it rolling to the Bridge. COYW's

Mikey, you didn't let Spencer have any adult beverages did you?

By the way, PCB and Optimizer in the chatroom said they could hear the Fulham fans loud and clear! You guys [the travelers] always do us proud.

Get some Scum and kick the Dirty Yellows to start the New Year!

Well it was an interesting first match for me. Got off to a great start with the goal but slid from there. It was disheartning to give up two goals, particularly two goals like that!

Unfortantly the last train to our boat came at 10 so we had to leave on the 90th minute which means of course we missed the equaliser. Sucks but there was little choice in the matter we'd have been stranded on the opposite side of town in Charlton, who'd want that! We got about a 1/3 mile from the stadium when someone behind us said there was an equaliser, my first thoughts were don't tease like that its not funny at this point, then 30 seconds or so later a cop with a radio said their was indeed an equaliser, everyone naturally went crazy. The last bit of activity happened on our way back to the boat when some younger Charlton fans who evidently took the equaliser hard and are under the impression that they're hard popped up behind our small group looking for a fight. Unfortantly there was a brief scirmish. Offically makes Charlton my second least favorite team in London.

A point is point. After finally making it to bed and not getting up for 13 hours I can't wait for the Chelsea match!

    A skirmish? Oh dear.

Please tell me you started swinging like Frodo in Green Street Hooligans, and landed one.
