Yeah I heard "com on Fulham" and "Brian McBride" when he came on. So the Supporters who were there were very loud.

McBride will be my favorite player and up there as top athlete/person for years to come....he is the absolute mold that more players need to take a clue from............as for the fans at watford, mike you and all the others could be heard, it was kinda giving me the goosebump affect as i think it was "we can hear you singing" being shouted (we'll forget what happened a few minutes later)....but that part of Fulham and the english game is what is hard to describe in words but makes it soooo special!

The Fulham fans did seem to drown out the home crowd. Nice job, lads (and lasses)!!! How many away fans were there?

I think we had just under 2000 that went in the end but we took over the Watford Main Street and a good majority of our fans met up at the same pub. We were actually singing songs 2 hours before kick off.

The atmosphere at the match was amazing even when we were 1-nil down. After their second goal went in we were depressed but when Brian put his shot in, we all had that feeling that it was far from over.

One of the songs went like this: "2 nil, and you f'ckd it up, 2 nil, and you fckd it up". Gave some of the other yanks that were with me an absolutely perfect evening.

Based on what I've seen on earlier threads, only PCB is more envious of you guys than I am.

It's great being a traveling fan on a night like that. Let's hope you guys have many more fun trips this year. Thanks for representing so well us on this side of the pond.

And for those who missed it. Replay today at 3 eastern, 2 central on FSC. Also will be replayed Thursday night with the "fan commentary". Have to imagine both guys will be going nutty at the end. Ah, if only we had held 3-2!!
