Craven Cottage Update

Hello all...
I wanted to give you an update regarding Craven Cottage since I made my first visit today since moving over.

Lots of work going on with the stands, especially in Hammersmith where they extended it a bit to allow for more seats. Looks as if that is just about done. I talked to one of the contractors and they were doing some electrical work since all of the food stands have been upgraded to Harrods standards. I personally can't wait to try the new pies...mmmmm....pies.

I met a good friend, Lauren (she's also Lauren on FulhamUSA) at the new Cottage cafe and had a very nice panini and cappucino whilst staring at Craven Cottage the whole time! Sunny and warm so it made for a complete Fulham day...especially since we walked back through Bishops Park.

Lastly, the Golden Lion pub has been refurbished and to end the day I had a couple of pints of Carling to check out the new additions. The place looks great and they bascially kept in an old world pub but made the bar large, gave it a new paint job in and out and also improved the beer garden out back. I enjoyed my pints and Ann, the land lady, is ready for our arrival in October.

What can you smell.. the GL? I thought mike said they refurbed it.. or is piss smell part of the charm?
