I am watching the match as well and its not good....ligament damage to his ankle so rule him out for a while.

Bad news for him and Fulham...so it looks like we'll play N. Jensen at the left on Saturday.

Well, what a terrible stroke of luck. I guess he is done for the season. :(

I was just about to post this. How did it happen? Did it look bad at first glance? I was watching the US match so I just started watching this match.

Robinson, the ENGLAND keeper took him out from behind as he went to slide in to stop a shot from a Uruguay forward. Robinson had no choice but to slide and he just ended up taking them both out.

I feel bad for Wayne, considering he was out due to injury for over a year before this.

My fear as well. I wonder who we might bring in this summer to shore up that area.... Well I hope we bring someone in.

Per Sven (from the BBC website):

When I saw it this evening, it looked bad, though not as bad as I'd imagined. Lovely play by Robinson, though. Great communication.

Chris Coleman was in the sky sports studio for the Welsh International last night, you should have seen his face when he heard of the Bridge injury.

Bridge will be out for 2-3 games, its seems nothing more then a ankle sprain

the releaf on CC's face was a picture.
