I'm planning to go to a local pub to watch the game this Saturday (the 1st) at 10AM. Summers in Arlington is the closest pub to me, but I'm flexible. The food is ok (not great) and they'll be a lot of arrogant ManU fans there (but that last part's probably true of any pub). A DC pub would be ok too.

Any thoughts, JohnnyCash, DCHeather, others? :)

AH....Well my friends and I had made plans to go to the Renn Fest and drink lots of beer and make fun of the weird people. I"m not sure what time we're leaving for that though. If its noonish, then I'm in, if its earlier, then I'm booked for this Saturday.

Summers works best for me too.

Too early for me to get there on a Sat. morning, especially the way this week has started. Maybe if it was later.

Heather will prolly snort... those guys are prolly in the park playing flag football for their 9th St NW pub team. No GURLZ allowed.. or needed!

And everyone of them gets the worm, early or not.

So, i'm not leaving until after noon on Saturday, so its a possibility Dave.

However, my car is going to be in the shop, I should know by tomorrow if I'll be able to make it or not.

I think I'll make it, but not 100% sure. Depends on my mood come Sat. morning (how much sleep I need), but definitely leaning towards going.

Is that the Courthouse Metro right across the street or is Clarendon the closest?

This would fill the only 3 hours of free time I've got available this weekend on Saturday morning.

JC, That's understandable. DCHeather and I did our best to root them on. There was one other Fulham fan there--I offered him a seat with us, but he decided to sit in another booth. I told him about the web site--I hope he checks it out!

Haha, i had a friend dictate this Saturday night as I laid on my bed half asleep, apparently she was not too much better typing than I would have been.
