I know RDG and sfm have seen him at Motspur for the reserve matches, and could add a different perspective, but maybe it might be time to give the kid Marcello Trotta a shot (if not now, perhaps at the end of the season, when we're safe). 8 goals in 8 games for Wycombe, and hopefully a loan to the Championship to a team where he'll get games. The club has wisely invested in the youth program and this kid is closing in on a chance to show his stuff against the big boys.

Yeah, I hope he gets to see some minutes with the first team soon. How big is this kid? Seems like a good lad too.

That's a better strike rate (in a much smaller sample) than Grant Holt had in League 1 and he has fared just fine for Norwich in the Prem. Holt's no Rooney, but he's got more Prem goals than anyone on our roster (7). Definitely worth giving Trotta a look, at least as a sub.

Yeah, he's big, but I don't know if he's "Prem Big" though. I figure next season he should play. He's been playing against guys who are not as strong as those in the upper divisions and he is still young. The best thing about him, though, is that he knows where to play the ball. In the match I saw, I think he made less than 5 mistakes with the ball, either through mental or physical mistakes. That's not a lot. His positioning off the ball is good, too, and I would LOVE to see him play (and score) for us, rather than having some big club come calling (a la Smalling).

I just really hope we Fulham supporters get the opportunity of seeing him with the first team before he gets picked up by a "big" club.

I haven't seen anything about the kid moving, so I guess he'll stick around for awhile longer? Do loans have to be done before the transfer window closes?

He's still at Fulham as far as I know. But scoring against League 1 clubs for Wycombe is a different monster than the Prem - albeit, his success at that level begs more chances for him with Fulham. God bless him to be the solution, but, as of now, we've seen nothing to demonstrate his ability to fill Bobby's shoes.

He's still not on Fulham's 1st squad list on the website. So I was wondering if he is still on the reserve squad. And does that make him eligible to still go out on loan?
