Fulham travels to Wales on Friday to face off against Swansea (it will be on ESPN+). The Swans are just two points behind Fulham, but they are in the odd position of having a better away record than home record. Swansea has earned just four points from their last six home matches.

Preston's 4-0 loss to Hull on Wednesday not only ensured that Fulham maintained third place, it also knocked down their goal differential from 13 to 9. Meanwhile Nottingham Forest clobbered QPR 4-0 which means that they are now tied on points with Fulham and have the same goal differential at 11.

Things are very crowded around the playoff spots, but another three points would help provide some separation and help keep pace with West Brom and Leeds.

    Have a great Thanksgiving all!

Was trying to remember if we’d had much luck at Swans lately, but we haven’t played them since January of 2014, so it’s pretty irrevelant. We’re 1-2-1 at the Liberty Stadium since it opened in ‘05, but that’s only relevant in that we DO have a chance there, unlike, say, Arsenal, where we’ve never won. As the right honourable gentleman prior pointed out, they’re close to us in the table, but in this league, what does that really mean? We just need to keep doing what we’ve been doing since that abortion against Hull City at the Cottage and we’ll be OK. I like where our head’s at, and that can lead to good showings on the road. Let’s start today!
Hope everyone had a MAH-ve-lous Thanksgiving!

Well, that was a fun match. There were long stretches where I though that if this is the sort of football Scottie wants, then I'm pretty positive about our chances. Random thoughts:

So, THAT's why Rodak starts over Betts
It looked like we had 5 or 6 ball winners out there
StefJo [and you know I'm not a fan] was iron man out there
Mitro ... what can you say?
Classy work by our wide attackers
win on the road against a tos 6 side

Rodak was somewhere between spectacular and magnificent today.

Extend highlights from Swansea (thanks Swansea!):

It isn't often in a win that I feel like the goalkeeper deserves MOTM, but I'd make an exception here for Rodak. If not for his terrific saves early on Fulham could have found themselves playing from behind. And if not for his terrific saves late in the match Fulham would have come away with only 1 point instead of 3.

So far Fulham is doing far better than I expected over these closing weeks of 2019. Thankfully they get a full week to recover before cranking out 6 matches in December.

What impresses me about Rodak’s saves is that put the ball out of danger every time. He didn’t once give Swansea a second chance.
