That would be a good problem to have!

I hope we don't get the same general contractor that Tottenham Hotspur used.

Buckingham Group built the roof for the Spurs' stadium. The roof was supposedly one of the last things built, but it was said that the delays were due to safety systems. They also built the Amex for Brighton and Hove. The Amex seemed to be completed on schedule and hosted its first match in July 2011. It was a friendly - against the Spurs

Or, at the very least, the same safety systems subcontractor. Yikes.

Actually the funny thing is IIRC there was no general contractor. Every trade essentially did their own thing on the own time which led to the clusterfark the process became.

Update from the club on the Riverside stand with pictures and video: https://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2019/august/07/riverside-stand-update

This explains why the video from Craven Cottage has been at a bad angle - they are shooting from a scaffold since everything non-structural has been removed from the Riverside stand. The grounds look normal when viewed from the Riverside scaffold, but behind it big changes are happening.

The old Riverside stand is no more. For the time being everyone gets a view of the Thames. (The demolition video in the tweet doesn't seem to be coming through, but they have it on their Twitter feed and the website.)

If there’s a silver lining in this for our club, it’s that many fewer days having to play at a reduced capacity Cottage and, hopefully, a slightly accelerated construction schedule, coronavirus be damned. 174D6F44-F4F7-4CB7-8A0B-9B60329422D3.jpeg

New photos and videos have been posted by the club. For the first time you can start to see the shape of the new Riverside stand - a few framing structures that show where the rows of seats will go. The page also notes that there will be improvements in the TV gantry that have been mandated by the Premier League. Hopefully that will get rid of the severe camera angle that had difficulty showing the near touchline this past season.

Fulham came out with their May update of the Riverside stand construction. The steel structure is pretty much all in place now - they've even started adding seats!

I don't remember this in prior updates, but in this one they say that they'll be re-doing the pitch over the summer. Hopefully they will do something about the terrible inclines at the corner flags and also into the advertising bollards. That slope around the pitch has always bothered me. I feel like it leads to lower quality corners and it is a safety issue when momentum carries someone off the field of play.
