Cracking start today at Kenilworth Road as Don's Luton Town Hatters coughed up a 2-1 lead to snatch a late draw against Middlesbrough, courtesy of a James Collins slotter off of a rebound in the 85th minute after Boro's Britt Assombalonga missed a penalty in the 82nd. Match appeared to have a bit of everything: quality efforts, skilled goals and a howler by Luton's keeper after a horrid giveaway. Props to Luton for showing some mettle and getting a result over a clearly superior side in a home opener. Oh, and one of their mids is a certain Ryan Tunnicliffe, who's still only 26, if you can believe that. Attempting to post the highlights...

That's an excellent review, my friend.
I signed up for ESPN+ this morning and, after some voice work, watched the match on replay. The Hatters do, indeed, have attacking on their mind, and they use their width very well. We will have a great time watching them and FFC square off.
Speaking of, so pleased to see that one of the two Championship matches tomorrow features The Mighty Whites. Add to that the German SuperCup on Fox, and I will be declaring the football season OPEN!!!!!!!!

After two weeks, only two teams have won both of their opening matches, Sheffield Wednesday and Charlton Athletic. And only one team has lost both. Yep, Blackburn.

Blackburn is too embarrassed to show highlights this week so all I have to offer is this short clip from Fulham which will at least give you a little GJ fix:

And one small correction @jumpkutz - Reading and Stoke both have zero points along with Blackburn.
