For those of you who subscribe to NBCSN Gold, there'll be a replay of our match with the Hammers from 09-10 on Wednesday, followed by the current match on NBCSN Friday afternoon.

I don't remember the outcome of the 9 year old match, and I'm NOT going to look it up before watching. It'll be fun to see that squad in action.

pitched a bitch with NBC Sports and they sent me a link to the match. Nice to see Fulham win -- even if 12 years ago. Also nice to see Deuce, Nevland, SuperSimon, and the crew.

My biggest surprise was seeing how well John Arne Riise played. I can't remember him EVER being worth a crap. Now if we can just get the same scoreline tomorrow.

Expecting to lose 2-0 or 3-1. Not asking a lot, but when I check the score would really appreciate not seeing us down 1 or 2 goals after 17 minutes.

The new guys make the squad, hopefully they can provide the necessary three points. Most importantly in my mind is that SESSEGNON STARTS UP FRONT. I'm not even sure exactly what order to put these guys in since this starting lineup is so different:

    Rico
    Odoi, Nordveit, Ream, Bryan
    Seri, Chambers
    Babel, Cairney, Sessegnon
    Mitrovic

Subs: Fabri, Christie, LeMarchand, Anguissa, Vietto, Ayite, Markovic

On the other side, Fredericks only makes it to the bench while Odoi, the person who Fredericks beat out for the right back position, starts for Fulham.

UDPATE: Schurrle is out with an illness

Wow, it's not like I didn't already hate Chica-bleepin-rito. Not nearly the consequences of the Hand of God goal, so maybe that's the Fingernail of God goal.

18 points dropped from winning position leads the Prem...ugh.

As egregious as the handball was, where was reaction from the players. Barely a couple guys with raised hands. The ref should’ve been accosted (figuratively not literally), maybe we get a makeup call later.

11 more matches until a return to the Championship. I can't see any possible path forward for a longer stay in the Premier League, but I can hope that the leadership has learned some lessons about player recruitment. They got us success in the Championship, but it was a house of cards that collapsed under even minimal pressure in the Premier League. The best possible outcome now is to learn, adapt, and come back.

I didn't expect to win, so I thought a microbrewery without the game audio would be the way to catch the match. After the first 5 minutes I thought I made a mistake, but after the first half whistle sounded, I applauded my decision and focused on the beer. The guy next to me who wasn't watching the game said 'you guys were winning last time I looked up, now you lost.' I quickly corrected him. "We haven't lost yet, but we will". At least the beer was good. Thanks Heavy Riff brewing.

Well, if we see Sess again on the pitch this season, I'll be stunned. He started off well -- got the assist -- and then about 20 minutes in, he seemed to have lost all his motor skills. Poorly aimed passes is one thing; the simple inability to kick a ball stopped at his feet is another. Ranieri wasn't all that hot on him anyway. I knew he would be gone at the half.

Now is a good enough time to sum up our relegation. We had enough talent in the squad for the mid-table finish I predicted. We did not get overall performances even approaching the cumulative talent. Only two players consistently played quality football -- Mitro and Chambers. They both played well today as well.

In retrospect, we probably only had one opportunity to resucitate the season before it was all too late. I believe we might have gotten out of this mess had we replaced Joka with Scotty Parker through the end of the season. He knew all the player skills and weaknesses, and I'm sure he had a plan. Unfortunately, we picked the wrong guy to manage the wrong squad.

I must say, I've seen Fulham have long runs of poor results over the years, but I've never seen a team quit as much as this one does. I'se regusted.

I think Ranieri has killed Sessegnon’s confidence. And for a young player, that’s crucial. He may want out now, and who could blame him? We’re about as consistent as a good pot of burgoo. By the time all of this is over, you might recognize one or two of the ballboys.

Don I disagree with the Parker thought, but do agree with the aSESSment (sorry sorry need some levity). He was not very good Friday despite the bright start; Zablaleta completely neutralized him after 15 or so minutes.

Anyway, Ranieri has got to go. He's been in charge 15 league + 1 FA Cup matches and his 18.75% winning percentage is worse Magath and Rene; and only slightly better than Lawrie freakin Sanchez!

Although our defense has improved from "sell" to "don't buy", we're going backwards. Our offense has dissolved. Look at the second half Shots on Target totals for the past 7 league games/since the New Year:
    • 3 vs Arsenal (was trailing 1-0)
    • 3 vs Burnley (was trailing 2-1)
    • 1 vs Tottenham (was winning 1-0)
    • 6 vs Brighton (was trailing 2-0)
    • 0 vs Crystal Palace (was trailing 1-0)
    • 2 vs United (was trailing 2-0)
    • 1 vs West Ham (was trailing 2-1)
Start the Parker era sooner so we can end it quicker.
