This match feels like the lima beans you had to eat at your Grandma’s as a kid so you could have dessert. No butter, no bacon, just boiled and utterly awful.

We just have to get the whoopin’ over with and hopefully something better will follow.

Agree. I think the over/under on a respectable score line is 4-0. Unfortunately I may take the over.

    I would take over personally.

On a normal day I wouldn't be thrilled about facing Liverpool, but now after they blew a lead late against Arsenal and then had a surprise loss against Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League, Klopp wants them to find their mojo again. Fulham has been just what any team needs to get their mojo back unfortunately. I expect another brutal beat down. The match will be on NBC Sports Sunday morning with an early start of 7 am EST/4 am PST.

Hmmm ... get up at 4 am to watch the obvious rout or record it? I believe that decision took less than 1 second. Thus, I fully expect a Fulhamish result when I watch the game at a much more civilized hour.

Yesterday's results were pretty poor for Fulham with all the teams within reach, except Crystal Palace, earning points yesterday. We're unlikely to keep pace, but here are the guys who will give it a shot:

    Rico
    Christie, Mawson, Odoi, Chambers, LeMarchand
    Schurrle, Anguissa, Cairney, Sessegnon
    Mitrovic

Subs: Bettinelli, Ream, Fosu-Mensah, Kebano, Johansen, Seri, Vietto

Yes, that is a 5-4-1 formation, so at least there is some recognition from Jokanovic about the team he is facing. Hopefully this change will tighten up the defense, but I'm not expecting anything much different from what we've seen so far.

So close to being up by 1 instead of down by 1 at the half:

I'm not sure if Mitrovic or Salah were onside, but it certainly seemed an unfair turn for Fulham.

Can we call this one a moral victory? It felt like Fulham stopped the bleeding and even showed the possibility of coming away from a tough match with points.

My thoughts exactly. Regardless of whether the call was right, we were an inch away from a 1-1 draw. Definitely some positives.

the double whammy? The first Liverpool goal came so quickly after the offsides call that no official had the chance to notice that the ball was moving when the Liverpool keeper booted it upfield. It should have been whistled. the 0-1 that turned into a 1-0 should never have happened period.

Having said that, we were never going to get points against Liverpool. They're just too good.

Having said that, the most telling comment made by the play-by-play folks in England was that at the November international break last season, Fulham were in the bottom eight. We played much better today that recently. I believe we're on the way up.
