    Here we go again... http://www.skysports.com/football/n...if-he-continues-to-be-overlooked-on-transfers

I thought Kline's departure would ease this, but apparently not. Does anyone know if this has been a common theme with Joka historically? Or is this just a Fulham/Joka thing?

The immediate response has been varied. Here's what the fans have to say... http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/how-fulham-fans-reacted-slavisa-14114779

On a more positive note, we have made one signing... http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2018/january/01/pro-deal-for-abraham

It feels as though we're in a lose-lose situation. If the lads keep winning it's 'we have enough quality in the squad we don't need reinforcements' or if we slip in the next few fixtures 'we don't have enough time to risk large amounts of money on a mid-table team'. Maybe a cup of coffee would be good before posting this negativity.

Fulham has brought in Southampton left-back Adam Targett on loan for the rest of the season.

Almost as good as getting a new striker. I expect we'll see more signings to come with the roster being lightened by recent departures.

Not really affecting us, but numerous outlets are saying Edin Dzeko is moving from Roma to Chelscum. I've always thought he was a quality striker and am surprised he's been out of the Premier League for this long. If Gigi Buffon says you're the striker he worries about the most, well, that's noteworthy. Definitely a better option than Peter Crouch or Andy Carroll.

Can't these transfer windows be shrunk to a week? Mon. & Tues could be for days where guys we had no idea were at the club in the first place could be returned on loan. Wed thru Fri could be a time where a loan or two of guys we've never heard of & won't play for the rest of the season can be loaned into the squad. Saturday will be a day of reflection and perhaps a picnic. Then Sunday will be a day to wait until the last 2 hours to finally add a player or in Fulham's case report that talks broke down at the 25th hour. :D

You may have all forgotten about Yohan Mollo, but I didn't! He didn't play much, but I thought he looked promising. He'll have to take his talents someplace else since his contract has been cancelled. Now I can go back to forgetting him like everyone else.

not Fulham, but did you see that Tim Cahill is back in England? Got a free to Millwall from his Aussie club. Evidently, he's been knocking them in for fun again. I always thought he was the player most like Clint back in the day.

Soares loan terminated. And, as Micah mentioned, Mollo’s As well. As Branch Rickey once said, “an addition by subtraction.” 7 hours left in the window as of this writing. Last I saw, Okaka’s going everywhere BUT England, much less Fulham. And, last I saw, no news on Cairney either way. If we do get a deal done, let’s hope we don’t muck up the paperwork.

News from the PL2 squad: George Williams has joined St. Johnstone of the Scottish Premiership and Stephen Humphrys has joined Rochdale of EFL League 1, both on loan until May.

Fulham has signed a striker on loan from Newcastle, not Dwight Gale, but Aleksandar Mitrovic. Mitrovic was supposed to head back to Anderlecht after failing to produce goals in two years at Newcastle. However, Anderlecht apparently couldn't get the funds together with other player transfers to make it work so at the very end of the transfer window the opportunity fell to Fulham.

Mitrovic did well at Aderlecht but wasn't able to reproduce that success in the Premier league. Hopefully the Championship is more like the Belgium league for him.

No Chris Martin, no Okaka, no Dwight Gayle, but we've got another loaner. http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2018/january/31/aleksandar-mitrovic-joins-on-loan.
    Here's his wiki bio. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aleksandar_Mitrović_(footballer).
Kid's only 23, but has been around a lot already. Appears to be some potential there. We'll see. Amazing to me how nobody saw this coming. Of course, we're not Real Madrid (Felix was right about that), so the press scrutiny is somewhat less than others. But this could work out beautifully.
