Another quick turnaround as Fulham travels to the league leaders for a Friday afternoon tilt.

Who knows in this division, maybe someone will put away a chance early and the goal will widen for the rest of the lads. COYW!!

If memory serves, we haven't had much luck at Molineux since the snow match cup tie that we tied at the death with a Ross McCormack penalty, then won in kicks from the spot. I hope there are some wholesale lineup changes, because we've sucked and looked disinterested at the same time. Joka needs to get their attention...and some of our forwards need to score goals.

I'm expecting a thrashing today (similar to what I had the misfortune of witnessing last spring) but I still love Fulham and I've got my merch on today in a show of support. What I'm calling "Fulham Friday" has already got 100% support from the workers in my office! (disclosure: I work from home) COYW!!

    Fulham Friday Indeed!

Hope y'all are enjoying it, I took a half day and am heading down to Finn's to have a few pints of cider and reminisce about losing to 2-1 to City in some Saturday morning Premier league fixture...yep, those were the days.

Was curious to see the word on the Kline story here at FulhamUSA, in my opinion, it can't be good news, even if it is better or the club temporarily, combine this with the terrible home form and growing frustration from Slav, I think this could be one of those things we look back on and think, shit that was kind of a turning point.
Hopefully thats not the case and we get 3 points against Wolves today and help smooth the transition at the club going into the next international break.

    COYW!!!

Based on recent form and Wolves being top of the table, this looks like the perfect setup for a Fulhamish win. Very much looking forward to watching them on ESPN3.

The weird thing was that we looked so competent out there. What was missing was anyone other than Ayite shooting. Fonte is the worst excuse for a #9 in any English league I can remember. Whatever he did out there for 60 minutes didn't involve him being in the same ZIP code as the ball.

I still don't know the players well enough to determine whether player A or B was having an off day, but here's some opinions.

MacDonald, Ayite, Sessingon, and Fredericks were our best players. Fonte, AK47, and Suares were our worst. Why? Well, I've already ripped up Fonte. The other two spent the last 15 or so minutes losing possession in the Wolves half. So frustrating.
I was nervous the entire match about Reem keeping the high line. He has a lot of good qualities, but footspeed isn't one of them. Luckily, Wolves front line is built on size not pace. When did the Portuguese get so damn big?
First card was a crime. The guy leaped over Johannson's leg and then dived. The card for Sessignon was BS also.
Finally, yes, it could have been better with Cairney out there, and yes, I understand why, when you have three matches in a week, and your best player is only about 85% you sit him against the side you're least likely to beat.
I don't blame anyone for the two set pieces. Two brilliant accurate crosses and two footballers asserting themselves in the penalty area. If only one of our alleged strikers could have done that just once.

I haven’t seen much of our action since the Bolton draw, but it’s obvious something’s very wrong here. With the talent we were able to retain from last season, there’s no logical reason we should be struggling so mightily right now. Is it the players we didn’t keep? Malone? Aluko? Is it underperforming by those we did keep? Sessegnon? Johansen? Kalas? Ayite? Has Joka failed to counter effectively to the adjustments the rest of the league made to his style and tactics? Or has the Kline effect caught up to us, and can we reverse it?
Smarter people than I will have to figure it out. I can’t. Can we salvage the season with the current downward trend in full flight? Maybe, but it looks less and less likely with each recent result.
