On Tuesday Fulham make the relatively short trip just northwest of London to face League Two's Wycombe Wanderers in the EFL Cup (known this year as the Carabao Cup). You may remember Wycombe is the team that gave Tottenham a scare in the FA Cup last year when they went up by two goals only to go down to the Spurs after a goal in the 7th minute of injury time.

I won't be surprised at all if Fulham's squad looks more like a PL2 lineup, but I also wouldn't be surprised if Jokanovic uses this as an opportunity for some of the first team players to get more familiar with each other. I guess what I'm saying is that I will not be surprised by anyone making the starting lineup with the possible exception of Billy the Badger.

It'd be great to see a cup run this year (well, not at the expense of promotion).

Agreed. Don't think we'll see Cairney as it appears he may still have an issue with the knee he injured vs. Darmstadt. The kids Joka fielded in cup matches last season more than held their own. Hope the same happens this season.

Workman like 2 nil victory for the good guys. Piazon & Odoi with the goals. Noticed that the powers that be have changed the name again (it's now the 'Caraboa Cup', initially thought of bbq, but realized that I was thinking of barbacoa o_O )

Disappointed not to see de la Torre, but nice to see other new names. Interesting enough, Matt O'Riley isn't listed under the player profiles on the offal. He's only 16 and was seemingly involved in a number of Fulham chances.

Happy for Piazon. Hopefully he gets a few more chances (and less broken jaws) this season.

We'll find out the next round opponent after the Bury/Sunderland match tomorrow.

According to the Fulham Twitter feed he got a standing ovation from the away fans when he was subbed off.

WHO is this kid? At 16 he's just a baby O'Riley, or baba o'riley as a toddler might say. Although many claim it is a teenage wasteland out there, he shows there is still hope.
