Blackburn relegated to League One as Nottingham Forest and Birmingham City survive. Newcastle pip Brighton for the trophy.

And here's an attempt at the final tally, minus, of course, the Barclay's Premier League and the playoffs.

    SkyBet Championship:
Promoted: Newcastle United and Brighton and Hove Albion
Relegated: Rotherham United, Wigan Athletic and Blackburn Rovers.

    SkyBet League One:
Promoted: Sheffield United and Bolton Wanderers
Relegated: Chesterfield, Coventry City and Swindon Town

    SkyBet League Two:
Promoted: Doncaster Rovers and Plymouth Argyle
Relegated: Leyton Orient and Hartlepool United

Promoted from the National League to SkyBet League Two:
    Lincoln City.

And, of course, Sunderland have been relegated from the Premiership to the Championship, so no Tyne-Wear Derby again next season. Too bad.

and down go Middlesbrough. Who's next? Hull? Swansea? Palace looks safe, but you never know.

Swansea get Sunderland and West Brom who have nothing to play for and Hull get Crystal Palace and Tottenham who both have something on the line. So who do you want to face, the teams playing free and easy but possible already on the beach or the teams who should come with intensity. Personally I like Swansea to stay up but not by much.

After the way they treated Bob Bradley I hope Swansea get relegated.

You need to add the following teams to your list since 4 teams move between League 1 and League 2.

    League 1 relegated: Port Vale
    League 2 promoted: Portsmouth

The League 1 playoff final is May 20: Bradford City v. Milwall
The League 2 playoffs start May 14 and we all know about the Championship playoffs.

They were in deep doo doo before a ball was kicked this season. Idiotic ownership ... makes the Venky family in Blackburn look good.

And down they go. It's a shame that Swansea appears to have temporarily succeeded with their boorish treatment of Bob Bradley but, for the moment at least, you have to give Paul Clement props for keeping them up.

Also a shame that we probably won't get a chance to pip this twit if we go up. I'd pay real money to see that. Sessegnon isolated against Terry in the box....mmm-mmmm-mmmm.

P.S. Some of their supporters became the first fans to invade the pitch at new Wembley. Well done, mates...

Exeter City vs Blackpool are up next at Wembley on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. Eastern. "Pool knocked out (sorry Don) Luton Town on a late own goal. The Seasiders were in the Premiership when I started following Fulham in 2010-11.
