Now James, please take it easy on the young lad. He's fought on the hard scrabbled, mean, and rough streets of Newport Beach  to get where he is now.

Shout out to Tab Ramos and the youngsters with a huge 1-0 win over Mexico down in Costa Rica (EL Tri had a 20 match unbeaten streak coming in), that puts them in a great place to qualify for the U20 WC. Give the young Klinnsmann credit as he has started every match in between the pipes.

From what I read a tie in their last match will wrap up their group and put them in the U-20 World Cup. After a slow start it is a great position to be sitting in.

And Fulham's own Luca de la Torre started three of the four US matches - scoring against Haiti.

I believe Marlon Fossey has started all three as well but I'm not positive about that.

Fossey started three and came on as a 29th minute sub in the fourth. Ramos seemed to have picked a "cup" team for the match against St. Kitts and Nevis. There were a number of changes from the other matches, including Klinsmann, Fossey, and de la Torre sitting.

An interesting mix, to be sure. I wonder if the old man can still get a penalty past Jonathan...yeh, prolly.
