One look at the table shows the top 5 teams have built a 9+ point buffer leaving our Whites with the 6th and last playoff spot still in within easy striking distance. The Sunday 4th round tilt w/Hull has major decisions personnel wise. This match is on the 29th, then the club has to travel to Burton on the 1st and then to Birmingham on the 4th. In other words, we are going to know if the playoffs chances are still realistic or whether a Top 10 spot is the likely ceiling. So what will Joka do?

**If only we were just average to mediocre from the spot instead of inexcusably putrid we could probably afford to go first choice against Hull

I actually like the side Joka's been putting out for Cup matches than for the league. Kind of anxious to see how we do in this atmosphere with the younger guys. I think they'll acquit themselves well, as they have throughout this season when given the chance.

Well, thank goodness we reacted to our shortage of attack players by loaning out Woodrow and LVC to Burton Albion!

I say we go for W's in all three matches and hope Martin doesn't get injured

Watching is probably good preparation for the next four years -- well, except for all the going to jail stuff.

Was happy to see Hull having to play ManU a couple of days ago in the League Cup semis, which meant they were going to rest guys today. 4-1 thrashing for the GOOD GUYS, and Martin scored . Onto the 5th round!!

The Guardian actually sent one of their beat writers to the Cottage. Here is his fairly glowing article about our lads. Is there any doubt Marcus Bettinelli should be our 1st choice keeper? Saved more penalties in ONE MATCH than Button has all season. Our tournament squad is out shining our league team. Hmm. If Joka's as smart as we all hope he is, he'll make the right adjustments. I really hope that includes Sessegnon. We're gonna lose him him sooner than later, so we might as well play him...NOW! I LOVE winning! It's like, better than losing!

Betts could have (and probably should have) stopped the goal, but he atoned for that with back to back penalty saves.

Sess is going to be hard to hold on to.
