The Terriers are third, just three points behind Newcastle and one win better than second place Brighton & Hove Albion. They're 2-0-2 this month after breaking out of the gate to an early lead in the table. Both teams have a full week to prepare, so no scheduling excuses are in play. I do know this. If you're going to play possession football, you'd better have a goalkeeper that's really good with the ball at his feet. So far, for me, David Button has not been that guy. Marcus Bettinelli may not be that guy, either. You have to have very good players to play possession football, and I'm not sure we have enough quality to do that. But it doesn't look as if Joka's going to change his tactics any time soon, so we'd better at least put people out there who are better with the ball at their feet under pressure than others. I don't know who that is, but I've watched Tim Ream enough to know that he fits the description. And I agree with the right honourable gentleman from the Republic of South Texas about Mr. Woodrow. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem as if the manager rates him. That's confusing to me, given what we've all witnessed from him when he does get a chance, and our struggles to score this season. I'm sure there will be changes Saturday, the question is, will they be in the places that seem obvious, or will they be like the one's we saw this weekend, i.e., largely ineffective. I haven't done the math, but it seems our record is better with Ream starting than not.

They're a very good side with a brilliant history -- three top flight #1 finishes in a row and an undefeated season in the 30s -- and will be very hard to break down.

    Cauley!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HT has lost 3 of it's last 4 matches away from home (3-1 loss at Preston last time out), so here's another chance to start making the home record more acceptable.

Ream on the bench, no Madl, Kalas back, no change in goal.

See what happens when we score early?! Good things! That's the first time we've scored in the first 30 minutes this year. Back in the top half of the table, positive goal differential on the season, and within three points of the playoff spots (pending the Birmingham game). Overall a good day!

Highlights! Get 'em while they're hot! Seriously. These highlights are stolen (and poor quality) so they won't be around for long.

Just based on the highlights, the MOTM should be Aluko. He did everything but score. He's the Energizer Bunny on the attack, and Huddersfield could NOT keep up with him. And Piazon looks like he just stood up from a seat on his living room couch when he scores. Nice to score first and early AND keep a clean sheet. Gonna savor this one for a while.

Here are some more that are a bit better, quality wise, albeit zoomed in a little.

Goals!!! I agree, we do look like a much better side (particularly on offense) with Aluko. I thought we looked promotion worthy with him and Ayite. Glad to see Martin has found his form. Excellent win!

Agree 1000%. And here are yet more highlights, courtesy of the OPPONENTS youtube. Somewhat lost in all the hubris was Johansen's sweet little backheel on the give and go to Aluko that led to the penalty.
