Another vid from this time period. Ahh, sweet youth, and listening to music nearly 24/7, where did you go?

I actually listen to more music now than ever before. If I'm not talking to someone on the phone, I've probably got music on my headphones. Besides my own collection of music, I often stream music from two sources.

One is The Other Side of the River - this is a feed from Steve Craig, a DJ at a classic rock station in Atlanta, but this is his (almost) commercial free alt-rock streaming service. He used to work at an awesome alt-rock station in Atlanta that is no longer with us, and then an alt-rock station in NY that is no longer with us. So there isn't an alt-rock station that can employ him anymore, so he keeps it going here. You'll hear older stuff like either of those Jeff Buckley songs and new stuff like Weathers.

The other is Punk Tacos - also (almost) commercial free. I doubt this is your thing Heather, but it is the best source I can find for punk music. Sad that that a corporate megalith like ClearChannel is the best source for punk music. What is this world coming to?

    Anyone else have streaming suggestions?

Umm...have you looked through the first couple of pages of this thread? I think I've posted videos from almost all the classic DC punk bands on this forum: from Minor Threat to Bad Brains...at least I think I have?

Not much into punk these days but I will always love me some classic rock, blues, and jazz.

In case I have missed posting a vid from the legendary punk band Bad Brains:

My apologies Heather!! My assumption was based pretty much on the link to Jeff Buckley videos and the fact that you are an upstanding citizen who isn't incarcerated. Punk Tacos plays Bad Brains too if you ever want to mix in some punk.

My oldest son is in a punk band and they recently played a Bad Brains cover at a show. Before performing the song, the lead singer said "Anyone here know Bad Brains?" and someone said "Never heard of them." to which he replied "Well you fucking suck!!" and then went into "Don't Bother Me"

Fulham TV and Trump had me feeling gloomy yesterday, so I was listening to my gloomy music. Then I found out that Jim Carroll died 7 years ago and I had no idea. I didn't know he'd joined the list of people who died. How is that possible?

Never heard the fast version, only the words are recognizable, but Freddie sounding great and Roger Taylor getting his drumming on.

Seeing all the signs in that Eddie Vedder video reminded me of the guy who originated the concept, our brand-spankin'-new Nobel laureate, Bob Dylan. You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.
