Blackburn has had as bad a start as Fulham's has enjoyed a good one. Rock bottom of the table with only a point, and shipping goals at an alarming rate (11 goals in 4 league matches). They did experience the taste of winning in the EFL Cup this week as Fulham did, but defeating Crewe 4-3 doesn't quite have the cache as Fulham taking down Boro. Certainly a match where there are points for the taking, but in this division anything can happen. COYW!!!

If I'm not mistaken, our road form has been slightly better so far in this young season. I'm bullish on this club right now, and I see us getting three points at a struggling side. But you're absolutely right, Joe.
In this league, anything can, and will, happen. But it does feel as if we've STARTED to turn the corner.

The last few seasons has been filled with turning 1 point into zero, 3 points into 1. So much nicer when a match that could of gone either way and it looked like 1 point turns into 3. Just a start, but if we want to contend for a playoff spot a handful of 1-0 victories need to be sprinkled in.

Is it too early to get excited? Because I'm getting excited.

Hard to tell from highlights alone but it looked like a 50/50 proposition for coming away with points at all so to get all three is really nice.

It isn't too early to get excited about August! Look at how green it is! Not a spec of red! I never imagined a start like this one.

I left town on Sunday for what passes for a music tour when you're 69 years old. So pleased to see Fulham in 2nd and undefeated.

Matt texted me when I was on the road from Cloudcroft, NM to San Antonio, TX this afternoon, so I got the good news shortly after.

This just in: we might be real.

    Highlights have been posted: http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2016/august/28/match-action-blackburn
Can't they get the audio right on these new videos? They always sound like crap. At some point the level is too high and it gets distorted. This wasn't an issue on the plain ole YouTube vids.

I thought maybe GJ and Jamie were overstating what should have been a PK for Woodrow, but after seeing the video it does look like he was pretty much tackled.

I'm with you SoCal Joe, grabbing points at the end, not sharing them and certainly not giving them away, is key to promotion in the Championship. I'm also officially stoked with our position going into the first international break. The three moves last week all look really positive and are a strong signal to the fans, we are serious. But...devil's advocate warning:

Leyton Orient, Leeds, Cardiff, Preston, Blackburn aren't very strong sides, eh? Maybe our schedule just worked out to be front loaded with relegation candidates and these are points are points that any mid-table side would collect over the course of the season?

Only time will tell, I'm just grateful I get to wear my Fulham kit in celebration on Saturday's again.
