Of course it isn't Don. No one likes their own world view contradicted when exposed. It takes time... like this:

    https://pjmedia.com/trending/2016/02/01/iowas-big-story-cruz-1-ethanol-lobby-0/

I am so proud of Iowa Republicans, right now. It probably helped that Cruz said he wanted all formula mandates lifted. So any blend could be available and used.
Of course, that would not turn out that ethanol fuel use increased.

No, what I meant was "What have I been saying?" is sometimes not very clear -- to many of us.

    Let's play 'Caption This!'
    I got at least three...

    Here's two of them:

'In a relationship with local Hillary campaigner and makes his own T-Shirts.'

'I don't believe a word of this BS! I REALLY like the Donald but he's got that [R] problem!'

What does the shirt say? "Settle for Hillary." Sigh, what's up with the juvenile antics of other supporters showing up and trolling those they don't like? I have to blame social media and 24 "news" channels-- every moron gets a little fame these days.

BTW... "I dislike all the candidates, but I dislike Hillary a little less...so I am settling for Hillary? FML."

Speaking of T Shirts: John Kasich will get one saying:

    "I won in Dixville Notch!"*

    * Total vote: Sanders 4, Kasich 3, Trump 2

There were more press than voters present.

I'm reminded of Vice President Richard M. Nixon doing his constitutional duty and reading the state-by-state electoral college results of the 1960 election. After the first couple of states, he was leading Kennedy and he made a classy self-depricating joke about it.

ayup! Main vote either for Free Shit, or for petty bigotry and revenge against the Establishment.

Occupy and Tea Party outliers ARE NOW being heard.

I have to wonder what brilliant Hillary mind came up with Madeleine Albright to say women not voting for Hillary deserved to be in hell?

If I were anti-feminist, I'd play that over and over.

I suppose I should take heart that only a few of the general population are acting like butt-heads in public?

Edit: Also, the quote is from a stoic philosopher. People who are acting out in that manner are far from practicing stoicism. Here's a few more quotes: "The key is to keep company only with people who uplift you, whose presence calls forth your best." "There is only one way to happiness and that is to cease worrying about things which are beyond the power of our will."

And I find it amusing that H came out of NH with more delegates than Bernie. It's how the party rolls.

Speaking of which...forget about who is running and their politics, just a question about the system; how does someone beat another by 22% and yet the two walk out with basically the same number of delegates?

Well, SCJ, if you Google "superdelegates" you'll see that this system has been in effect since 1982. Eight years ago, the same thing happened with Obama. Once it became obvious that Obama had broad support, the superdelegates were released from their "hold." As a matter of fact, in every presidential election since 1984, the superdelegates lined up with the other delegates. They have never deprived a person from a nomination.

At this point, it would probably blow your mind to also learn that none of the delegates selected in Iowa are bound to vote for the candidate they supported.

Yep... essentially, they are independent of primary results, it's to prevent a populist who goes against party establishment from grabbing the nomination. Whether Sanders fits that role remains to be seen. If he emerges as a clear winner after several state primaries, the superdelegates usually concede their support.

With Scalia passing, the Presidential race just got even more interesting. There's no way Obama will get another appointment through the Senate.

Don't bet on ANYTHING with this congress. The way to block an appointee is to not go on recess. But that relies on carrying through on what you say.

Trump with his attack on Dubya 'lying' about WMD showed who he really is. He actually regurgitated Conspiracy crap pushed by the radical left and some on the radical right. And it probably resonated. With the people who support him, namely the dumbest factions of Occupy and the Tea Party. I said there was a synergy between them and now we're seeing it.
    Idiocracy.
Imagine! ... one of the most used google searches was 'Are Jeb and George W related?'
Dont know whether to laugh or cry.
    - Note: So on Sunday morning Trump drops the other shoe and says that it was leaving Iraq altogether that was the big factor. No one during the debate seemed to hit on that.
Of course Khadafy dumping all his WMD because he was afraid he might be next DID contribute to the instability.
'Hey... let's mess around in Libya. He's an easy target ..NOW!'

And btw, dont base ANYTHING on that audience reaction: The GOP stacked the seats with establishment drones. Reason: " The hall {which they picked} is too small to use a lottery. so we'll just hand the tickets out to our party workers.
    Say WHAAAAAT!

Any recess appointment would only be a temp appointment which could be confirmed or rejected by the Senate. Justice Rutledge appointed by Washington has been the only temp appointment Justice to be rejected by the Senate though.

I think Obama will pick a tough political nominee for the Republicans to reject though. The presidential race just has a lot more on the line now.
