The final score was what I expected, I just didn't think it would take us 94 minutes to get there, but I'm not going to complain any further about a win!

Although Ream's only appearance in the highlights isn't so great, I was encouraged that he seemed to get a warm reception from the crowd as he exited the field when he was subbed in the second-half. They certainly weren't cheering to have Bodurov come on!

No better way to not linger on a loss than a quick turnaround. Stoke and Mark Hughes coming to the Cottage mañana, with the huge derby clash v QPR on Saturday, how does Kit play this??

Pretty sure the QPR match is Friday. Stoke have gotten off to a slow start this year (shouldn't have let N'Zonzi leave, plus unfortunate to lose Shawcross to an extended injury). If they watch the Blackburn tape, we're in trouble. Depends on how seriously they take this one. If they go with starters we're going to have our hands full on the wings & will struggle for width on offense. Hopefully they rest guys.

I'll be in the room for this with GJ and Sean. A chance to see Hyndman?

Three Point Tuesday falls on FIFA 16 release day, hopefully I don't spend my night trying to exact revenge against Stoke lol

This game is a complete unknown for me, like so many the in the league cup. Who will Stoke play? Who will we play? I hope we play a mix of bench and first teamers. I'd love to see Hyndman get a game, but I suspect he's been frozen out entirely for refusing to sign an extension (boy I hope I'm wrong about that). I'd expect to see some (or all) of Woodrow, Mattila, Kaca, Burn, Hutch, and LVC.

I never really prioritize the league cup as a fan. It definitely plays third fiddle for me behind the league and FA Cup. The pressure is off for us. No shame in losing to a PL team, but a win would give us a nice boost. I'll be listening at work, so all I really want is some excitement!

I have no idea who Kit will play but I don't expect Hyndman to feature. Hopefully Cauley will get extended minutes and Fulham can grab a win.

Burn in center defense with Stearman. Ream out on the left.

And Cameron and Sidwell playing CDM in a 4-2-3-1 for Stoke.

From the sounds of it at least, I have to say I'm not too disappointed with the result of this match.
    • Fulham was attacking more
    • No one was injured!
    • We avoided extra time
    • Two of my favorite players, Hyndman and Christensen, who have been on the bench most of the season seemed to play well
    • No more worries about League Cup distractions
I still want to know where McCormack is. Once again it is Burn with opportunities late in the match rather than Ross.

Sounds like there were a number of positives to take from the match. Not too bothered about falling out of the Cup b/c we lack the defensive organization to have gone on a run.
