Seeing these guys at Red Rocks tonight! I haven't been this excited for a concert in a long time.

Hopefully the nets are smokin' from Fulham's shootin' tomorrow (poor attempt to make the post relevant).

    I second that sentiment!

Happy Halloween! Gotta have some All Saints Eve music. Only one Oingo Boingo, only one Dead Man's Party. Whatever happened to their strange lead singer, Danny Elfman?

James Bond is back, and good or bad I've seen every film. You can argue whom is the best Bond (personal rankings; 1A. Connery, 1B Craig, 3. early Moore, 4. Brosnan, 5. Dalton, 6. Lazenby, 7.late Moore, if I can count Moore only once I'd still give him 3.) The theme songs have been equally great, a few of the most memorable:

Joe, I think you got all the best ones. But since I always liked Tina, I'll add this:

And since I love powerful female rock voices and love this song, here's a nod to Janis:

In honor of me finding the CD at the local used books and music store, I'm posting this (not to change the theme of the current string, has anyone seen Spectre yet?).

    Two songs for Kit:

I once thought I might get laid off from a job. I had at the ready this song and a quick change of password so that my computer would play exit music for me as I went out the door. Thankfully I controlled my own destiny and left at a time of my choosing and "Operation Cake Bomb" was not put into effect.

This doesn't exactly fit here, but RIP to Gunnar Hansen who passed this weekend. Who is Gunnar Hansen you ask? Gunnar was the actor who played Leatherface in the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. My better half is a horror movie connoisseur and his character is one of the scariest in movie history for her. A little known fact was that beside being a great dancer, Leatherface loved the band Queen
