I was telling some co-workers about pies and British football and he found this site: https://thepiepundit.wordpress.com/ It is a review of different pies from around Britain. I liked it already and then I realized it is written by a Fulham fan! Each review is from an away match he went to for Fulham. Did you know about this?! Why didn't I know about this?! So far nothing from this season, but enjoyable to read from last season. I hope he starts up again this year.

Just sample from Sheffield Wednesday last year:

This is bump worthy. You could tell he's a Fulham fan when reading his review of a pie from Duke's Head; 'situated across the river from Fulham's cozy little ground of dashed hopes'. Laughed when comparing the cost of the pie to Fernando Torres' Chelsea transfer fee..great stuff

The Pie Pundit took an extended hiatus - last season seemed to crush whatever small amount of joy Fulham still gave him. But lo! He's back with two new entries. I hope he gets back in the habit again although he still seems to be in a dark place.

Classic case of over expectations at Wigan.

I'm guessing he would be out of his dark place with Fulham's recent move up the table.

Thanks Micah for posting, half the fun of reading is trying to figure out what he's saying

Agreed! I read "Sleaford Mods" and thought, "Is that a football club like MK Dons?" Uh, no. Turns out it is a music duo!

Can't say I care for it much. For rhythm and spoken word I'd prefer Future of the Left
