Saturday's match is actually featured on beINsportsconnectTV -- LIVE! So, if you have beIN Sports on your cable system, you've got it live. It also means that there'll probably be some other links out there.

'boro is fighting for 1st place, so they'll have a lot to play for. I'd like to see Cauley start up front with Ross and Ruiz just behind them pulling the strings. And, I'd also like to see Roberts come on at 60-85 minutes to run their defense ragged. I don't care if we win or lose; I'd just like to see aggression and all-out effort.

This match is about pressure. All the pressure is on Middlesboro while the pressure has been relieved from the guys in white. Those 2 automatic promotion spots are worth tens of millions, while the 4 team playoffs for the last spot is a crapshoot. The big problem for Boro is their GD, which is far worse than Bournemouth,Watford, or Norwich Their final match is a seemingly easy home fixture with Brighton, but they realistically need 6 points. Like HD, want to see the team play loose, aggressive, and embracing the role of spoiler. Also hoping to see our home support put aside the knives for 90 minutes and get behind lads because you know Boro will be bringing a huge away contingent with them.

Haven't you heard, Don & Joe? We're safe and so have nothing to play for and are already on the beach now. Isn't that how football works in England?:D

I'd like to see any of the young crop they think can step up next year, however since the U21's are still very much in a relegation battle I don't know that that's likely. I don't want to see any loan players we don't have a shot at or interest in buying or Parker or any of the definitely departing, Ruiz included.

I agree with Matt. We're safe and should only be playing guys who will be with us next year. There's nothing to be gained from playing the likes of Ruiz right now.

Of course, the major problem with this way of thinking is that Kit doesn't have a clue who is going to be here next year, especially since he might not be here either. Go for three points every match. That's how it should always work.

I just want to see us win out. Not likely, but it would be a nice way to end a poor season. And God knows we're due.

Curious to see what lineup Kit puts out. There's no more need for the dire pragmatism of 6 defenders and no wingers; but he hasn't necessarily shown himself to be the most creative or progressive in his tactics.

That said we're going to lose 2, 1-0. They have probably the best defense in the league yet may be without their leading goal scorer.

If Kit doesn't know Ruiz is outta here, he should be canned today. He's been looking for the exit since we were relegated. You need not look any further than his back pocket to know why. Conversely, FFC need to reduce the amount of wages paid per player. I've got as much chance of signing with Fulham as Ruiz does once he's free in 5 weeks time.

As for the other, squad selection doesn't necessarily reflect intent for more reasons than I can list.

Normally I'd agree with you tim, except that we've given the contenders more fits than the rest of the also rans or fellow relegation candidates. I'm not going so far as to predict a win, I'll just wager that we give 'em more than a handful. A draw is the likeliest result.

    From the BBC site:

Fulham have won three of the last four meetings at Craven Cottage, losing the other. Middlesbrough's only win there since 2004 was 2-1 in the Premier League in August 2007.

For those of you who've not been with us very long, this was the match in which McGod screwed up his knee while scoring a goal and was down half a season, and a perfectly good goal was disallowed when the 'boro keeper pretended he'd saved it forward of the goal line instead of a good TWELVE INCHES BEHIND IT. Damn you, Mark Schwarzer.

Not that all of this bothered me at the time … or continues to bother me.

Sorry to see my boy Cauley on the bench, but good to see Pat Roberts there.

Glad we won but hated to see us piss away leads. Still, given the overall nature of the season, a win is a win is a win.

And the person of the match -- at least to those in the chatroom -- was Senator D. C. Heather!

'boro had everything to play for today. They needed three points in order to have a shot at automatic promotion.

And yes, we gave up three goals and lost a two goal lead, but we also put four past the best defensive team in the league. To read posts on Facebook and elsewhere on the Interweb, you'd think we had a horrible display. My only frustration was with beIN Sports and the 15 minutes of the match I lost. Aside from that, it was vastly entertaining and a lot of fun.

Two minutes of highlights doesn't do this match justice. It deserves about 10 minutes of highlights.

When Rodallega got hit by McCormack's kick while on the sidelines receiving treatment it reminded me a little of Scott Sterling.
