Fabian Johnson scored the opening goal in a 2-0 win for Gladbach yesterday.

Apparently Jurgen hasn't forgotten him. He got called into the roster for the upcoming friendlies versus Denmark and Switzerland. I hope he gets some playing time.

Yedlin is in the squad as well. Any of you still following the Premiership know if he's gotten any pitch time at Spurs yet?

Looks like Hyndman is back to health as he was called into the U-20 squad.

I don't believe Yedlin has even made the bench. It's tough to get signed by a manager who gets canned shortly thereafter. We may never see him at WHL.

Yedlin went to Spurs way too early. Hopefully he can make a move to a bottom 10 Prem side and/or go out on loan somewhere. Playing time should be priority one at his age.

An actual yank re-upping their contract in Europe. Alejandro Bedoya extended his contract with Nantes, if you haven't seen it a couple pages ago Lax posted his goal against PSG from Dec. that was fantastic.

No surprise Juan Agudelo is returning to MLS as he signed a deal with New England.

Stoke wanted him, but he couldn't get a work permit. I still don't understand how some players do and other players don't get it.

The Veikkausliiga is the 33rd ranked league in Europe & Kupion play in a ground with a capacity of 5k. Ouch.

It seems a lifetime ago but it wasn't that long ago that he and Jozy were the main attraction for the US U-20's.

Didn't see it, but Sky Sports gave him a rating of 6. For laughs I looked at reactions on a Spurs MB (would occasionally do it also when Duece was there). I don't think there is a more delusional set of fans than Tottenham, they really think they should be winning the Prem consistently. Anyways, it was the usual responses (not prem quality, only bought to sell jerseys in US, pace only good thing he has), a few were at least responsible to say that he looked good against Chelsea in a U21 match and perhaps it would wise to see more than 10+ minutes.

that's typical. I can't believe they think that anyone over here would buy a Spurs jersey just because his name is on the shirt. USMNT, maybe, but really?

Oh, I wouldnt be too sure. In 80 I went to Harrods to buy some jerseys. Choice for me was between Spurs and Gunners.
Why? Because they were readily identifiable... as opposed to those with some sailing ships on the badge.

I think this is the most important take home message:
"If his Arsenal showing is any indication, Williams should be in line to step into the US national team role of veteran Real Salt Lake defensive midfielder Kyle Beckerman."
