When I started following Fulham, these guys were in the Prem. They won the league cup, then were relegated. Now they have one Brek Shea. We get Matt Smith back from the straight red at Reading. Do we start him? I dunno. Hate to mess with a winning streak, yo.
One thing's for sure...Mr. Sweat pants ain't likely to see the goal crease any time soon...and that's fine by me.

Managed to run across a replay of Shea's first game against Leeds. To be fair it was only the second half (he played 20+ minutes of that half before being subbed) and he was running out of gas, but he was the same old Brek; first touch dreadful and lost possession continuously. Allegedly he played a good first half, but I'm done holding my breath thinking he'll ever be a starting or even a contributing member of a Premier League club.

Let's see if we can get through 90 minutes without a red card, and who knows maybe even a goal or two. Might be asking too much to get a result, but Birmingham ain't exactly lighting the Championship on fire.

Bumping this back up, Heather is there a way to increase the 'recent threads list'?

1 point from 8 matches. One friggin' point. I'm all about 'tough love' at this point for the Fulham squad - pull your heads out of your &^%$^@ and play some football.

Yes, as soon as I get to a computer. I can increase it. Right now I'm not too far from Jimsig's neck of of woods. Lov New England around this time of the year.

It would appear, with both Real Madrid and Barcelona in action on Saturday, BeIn won't be bothering with the Championship. There's currently one match (Blackpool-Norwich) on the docket for Connect and that's it. Dare I say this is a winnable match? I'll be uncharacteristically optimistic and suggest this is the one that stops the slide. 3-1 to the good guys.

Nice, enjoy the vacation. My sister and brother in-law are on a cruise that left Boston and is going up north this week, beautiful country this time of year for sure.

Back on topic; Tim, next round is on me if that's the correct scoreline.

Why not, I'll go with a Fulham win. 2-1. I like that the players feel we're better organized and are finding the game prep improved. That should allow us to beat struggling teams like Brum, home or away.

I second the motion for expanding the recent threads list. After you've enjoyed your vacation. :)

Finally! And we're off the bottom of the table thanks to Blackpool. Now let's get out of relegation!

Now for a little game. Who can identify what isn't quite right about this picture of today's match?

True, the lime green is a bit much, but I was intrigued by the furry in the bear suit standing in row four. Those people in Birmingham are freaky.

Although... given the color of his shirt collar he might be a Fulham supporter!

Update: Just watched the highlights and confirmed bear-man is a Fulham supporter. Sorry for disparaging Birmingham. And there's nothing wrong with an adult wearing an animal costume when it isn't October 31 or he's not employed at Disneyworld. Totally normal.

Young Bettinelli has been HUGE! DO NOT take him out until he screws up! And then, STILL don't take him out. Let him work through it.
