Another impressive result for Leicester today. They've now taken 8 pts from 5 matches against Everton, Arsenal, Chelsea, United and away to Stoke.

Four years ago, if I'd told you Leicester would be in the Prem and Fulham in the Championship you might find it difficult to know if you'd gone back in time or forward, especially seeing Paul Konchesky bombing up and down the Foxes left flank with a full head of hair.

And Lampard effed scum in the derriere! ManUre's a train wreck, scousers screwed the pooch at Upton Park and Everton and Tim Howard are shipping goals like the Titanic taking on water. Maybe we'll see a surprise league winner this season. Which would be alright with me. Shake things up a bit.

That would be nice Jump. But I anticipate things will settle out and the season will end in an expected fashion.

Thought about starting a new thread, but figured this question would be best placed here (if anything to see Konch w/hair, still makes you do a double-take). How has your amount of Prem viewing been affected by Fulham's drop? Does the lack of US players in the top flight hurt your interest level?

As for me I didn't think my viewership or interest level would curtail, but it has so far dramatically. I have not watched one single Prem match from start to finish. By that I'm not including listening to GJ on the laptop w/a game in the background. I realized the other day that I haven't looked at the Premier League table once this season. What about you?

I knew I wouldn't pay much attention at all to the Premier League without Fulham there, I follow teams not leagues. And, yeah, the lack of Americans playing has had some effect as well, but not a whole lot. Even last year, I didn't really make a huge effort to watch other teams that featured Americans. I used to make time, but not so much anymore. My free time to watch these things become less and less each year. And I'm perfectly ok with it. :)

I'm sort of keeping up with it. Chelsea's kickin' butt, I know that much at least. Scousers are down at the moment, not nearly as potent without the serial biter Suarez, Balotelli ain't gettin' it done for them at this point. ManUre is largely sucking under Louis Van Gaal, but they figure to improve. Tim Howard's Everton got off to a slow start, but may be picking up steam after a clean sheet this past weekend. Southampton have been the surprise of the league so far, but they figure to return to earth at some point. QPR are bringing up the rear, and for good reason. They stink. But scum are undefeated. Costa's getting all the ink, but Cesc Fabregas should be. He's been the most impressive player I've seen thus far this season.

Not having Fulham in the league and not participating in the fantasy league has drastically reduced my viewership. I initially thought that I'd still keep up since the reason that I got into Fulham was because I wanted to follow the Premier League and needed a team to focus my efforts on. I've tried to watch a few matches online but other things have received my primary focus.

I like the fact that the only points Chelsea have dropped this year were due to a late Lampard goal. Plus you can't make this stuff up:

With Jozy on a milk carton and Fulham in the FizzyPop, I'm watching very little. If I'm up early on a Saturday/Sunday and Fulham's not playing, I'll watch. I do tend to follow Liverpool a bit, and recorded the American GK derby last weekend, but after years of watching as many as 7 Premier League games a weekend, I'm pretty much down to 1 or 2.

I much prefer watching televised Championship matches -- one announcer = a hell of a lot less blather

I tend to watch more matches as the weather gets cooler and spending time outside is more suited for penguins rather than humans. That being said, I just try to find a good match to watch, whether that be the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, etc. Heck, I think I've even watched a little of the Brazilian league one evening. So my viewership hasn't decreased per se, but only decreased in that I can't watch Fulham as much as I used to.
