I skipped listening to Jim live for each of the last 2 matches since I knew the club would be airing the replay the next day. That worked out fine for the Millwall match, however I was very disappointed to find that last night, the Wolves matches was only 39 minutes of "extended highlights". I'd like to know first, why. And second, if that's going to be the case going forward. If so, I'll make it a point to listen to Jim's full broadcasts live going forward.

My other issue with this is the editing process. From what Mike said in the Millwall thread, it sounds like the club is doing the filming and editing. Fotheringham's yellow card was omitted and there was no mention of it until (I believe it was) Stafylidis picked one up late in the match. A number of corners were left off from both sides and the chops and changes seemed very random. From comments I've read elsewhere and from what I've been told, I'm to understand Sean Davis was rather critical of Magath and his strategies during the match. However almost none of that made the replay. I sincerely hope the club isn't giving us a sanitized version of events and editing to put FFC in the best light. I want an accurate representation of our performances. If I were a glory hunter and in it for the wins, I'd have gone elsewhere a long time ago. I sure as shit wouldn't have subjected myself to every match from the last 2+ years.

I'll tune in to Jim's audio for Saturday's match and check out the replay as well to see for myself. Hopefully it'll be the full replay, or else some explanation will be given for why it isn't. And I hope for the clubs sake I don't see any sanitizing of the product.

I figured it was extended highlights because SkySports actually aired the match and they may not have had rights to show the full thing. Yes, they had the full match against Ipswich, also on SkySports, but midweek games are often a different package. (TV rights in England are beyond moronic)

Plus it ended at 10pm GMT and was up by noon GMT the next day. Unless they worked through the night there was no way to edit the full match with GJ audio together in time.

They've very much doing it as they go along, which I commend them for. We'll see what Saturday looks like ... on Sunday.

I didn't know it was going to be on BeIN when I posted that. I'll be watching online and I'll be in the chat at 9am tomorrow.
