While Fulham has a game in hand, Barnsley is sitting 2 points above us at 8th in the table. The main reason they are doing so well is their away form. 6 wins away from Oakwell and the same amount of points at home as on the road. The good news is we've handled them once at their place 2-4 back in mid-October, so here's hoping for the double.

Without checking, FFC away form has been pretty good as well. So hope we can continue it at the cottage! This would certainly be a big win, but with our position, they all are at this point. For a much different reason than last season though.

I like where we're at, and I think the lads think they've got this side's number. Should be three points.

BeIN sport's TV listings are showing the game will be on BeIN Sport 3, one of their online channels. So if your cable/satellite package includes BeIN sport, you should be able to see it.

But their listings have been wrong before!

From the offal. Apparently, it is true, Evan. Time will tell if it's the right move or not. It'll be interesting to see what the supporter reaction will be if he makes an appearance. Even Fulham fans aren't too kind to perceived traitors.

    What would help us is:
    1. Finally putting an open header into the net
    2. Converting PK's
    3. Scoring in the first half
    4. Scoring in the second half
    5. Scoring of any sort

I watch it on an iPad, through an available app. I also think you have to download some sort of app on your computer to get it to work. I got it to work once on firefox, but it was a real pain in the a$$.

I spent a whole season successfully watching it on Google Chrome, then the following season it wouldn't work. Safari wouldn't let me log in, Explorer and Firefox were also no go's. I wonder how they manage to sell advertising on a site to damned difficult to log on to.

Reason why it doesn't work in Chrome. Can't answer why you're having issues with Safari or Firefox? I had to disable adblocker to log in using Chrome, so...

Well, well, well - look who decided to play today

    Button,
    Fredericks, Kalas, Ream, Malone
    Johansen, McDonald,
    Aluko, Cairney, Piazon,
    Martin

Subs: Bettinelli, Odoi, Parker, Smith, Madl, Sigurdsson, Sessegnon

Ream seems to have made himself part of the regular starting lineup.

Much to the dismay of the twitter world. There are more comments about Ream than Martin today.

I'm surprised that there has been so much variety in the center back pairings by Joka. It's nice that he has that flexibility and it has been successful.

A taking care of business performance AT HOME. 3 more points. And we made a bloody penalty. Anybody entertaining playoff dreams yet?

Not calling Chris Martin a pig, but after a goal and assist (how about the pressure of going to the spot at home after the last couple weeks?) this comes to mind:

To answer your question Jump, a big resounding YES!!

Always a warm feeling when you check the result for the first-time, post-match, and see a 2-0 to the good.

Official "unshitty" highlights from the Barnsley YouTube channel:

This was a great match for us. We dominated a team that has awesome away form, had 16 points from the last 7 matches, and was slightly above us in the table (no longer!). I loved the score from Malone, not just because it was a great shot, but because it showed good teamwork. Martin, who could have come out playing selfishly, sees Malone coming open on the wing and sends him a cross. Piazon thinks he has a chance to take it, but holds off when he hears Malone call for it from behind him. Piazon can't see Malone, he just decides to trust him and we are all rewarded with a sweet finish. We don't score without all of them working together.

January 21 through February 4 will be a brutal run for us with so many matches packed together - mostly away. Hopefully we can keep things going and at least remain within striking distance of the playoffs during the upcoming matches.
