The Wanderers are a mess. They're struggling to make payroll and they're bottom of the table...but.
They've only lost two at home, with one win and seven draws. Still, if we lose or draw this one, Rigg and everybody on the first team staff should be sacked.

Even if Carrot Top was our manager, we should be able to win this one.

Didn't we face Blackpool under similar circumstances last year? How'd that go?

That said, we desperately need a win.

Not sure if we could beat Carrot Top's Sunday rec team at the moment. Top 10 talent in this division, but all the talent in the world means bumpkiss when there is no leadership or direction at any level of the club. I guess it's possible Bolton could be worse on the day, but a drab 0-0 or 1-nil (either way) will likely be the final score.

I am going to get pretty nervous if this is turn out to be a lackluster performance against a 1-10-10 team.

The talent argument is pointless. In a league filled with parity, team trumps talent every time. We lack the balance and organization to be a good team. While he's limited on the former, hopefully Gray is getting the latter sorted.

Gray could be a terrific organizer, but his role is so ambiguous why would the players totally buy into anything he has to say?

This just in...Sky Sports is reporting Carrot Top is, in fact, en route to Motspur Park to discuss terms. The comedian was seen exiting the Motspur Park rail station by Sky Sports sources half an hour ago.

Because they're professionals? They have pride and are tired of not winning? He's staying on the coaching staff when the new guy comes in, so they don't want to fall out of favor? They want to impress for anyone watching in the hopes of a move elsewhere?

If these are issues, then we really are a ways from promotion. As said before, where's the senior leadership in this team? Are we short on character?

I'm really trying to not get too negative, but remember that crappy team we had last year? Remember the chaos of Magath? Remember sinking like a stone to start the season? That steaming pile was in 14th place with 25 points at this time last year. That's three places higher and two points more than we have now. We were consistently mid-table before Kit left. Since he was given the boot we've gone from 12th to 18th. Our goal differential for the season went from +1 (and that was after consecutive 1-3 and 2-5 losses) to -3.

Bolton is better than their record implies. I think another early goal keeps us going on a negative spiral and we slide further down the table.

Sadly, I find it difficult to disagree with the any of the above. At least I will be in the theater with my phone turned off for most of this one.

I sure hope the answer to that last question is no.

O'Hara and Cairney to the bench. Hyndman, Parker, Kaca in the middle. Finally figured out why no Husband...loan expired, back to Middlesbrough (duh).

There's nothing left to talk about here. I'll be back when Shahid Khan decides to sell the club to someone who knows something about owning a professional sports team. COYW.

I was literally going over the river and through the woods to grandmother's house on Saturday, so I missed listening to the match. From the highlights it seems like we sliced open the Bolton defense enough that we should have had four goals. Fulham now has the most goals for AND the most goals against in the Championship. Always an exciting match when Fulham comes to town.
