There's a very strong parallel between Bob and Roy obvious in the 4-4-2 article.

Resume validation. If Bradley adds the Premier League to his CV, he most likely guarantees employment in a top-flight league for the rest of his life...and if he does well, then keep climbing that ladder, coach.

Too bad it's Sunderland. But it will be interesting to see if he can turn things around immediately and keep them safe. I know there were some minor rumors of him joining Fulham when we were in our manager limbo, so I'm very curious to see how he does. Might be one of those head-banging wall coulda, shoulda moments in Fulham history.

I'm still doubtful. American owner at Sunderland and American coach -- it's too easy of a lazy connection.

Very true. There really isn't much in the article than Bradley's current club saying they wouldn't stand in the way if he got an offer. And there hasn't been one...YET.

Bradley most likely won't get the job, but the fact his name was thrown out again, I take it as a good sign that some football people acknowledge his pedigree and ability.

Which is why I was a bit hesitant to post it. But we'll see, I guess. I would think his resume would already look pretty good to some teams better than Sunderland.

And I'd like him to get a shot at a top flight club in a major European league also ... especially since he's approaching 60. If he doesn't get a gig in the top tier in Germany, England, Spain, Italy, or France soon, he'll be considered too old to make the jump.
I still think he's the best manager the USMNT have ever had.

Which begs the question...what IS his next, best move?

Unfortunately, I don't think he is in a position to have a next, best move. Let's face it, he is automatically looked down upon and doubted because of his nationality. If a manager from a European or South American country had his identical record with multiple national teams he wouldn't have to go one of the most cash strapped teams in the Norwegian league of all places and beg for a chance (and he has them in 2nd place). Sunderland are looking for the next retread 'with Prem experience', so BB will never even get an interview. My dream best move would be for him to get a chance from an owner willing to stick his neck out, with some good pieces in place, and ready to make a promotion (his best shot might be a bigger league, but at a lower level) push by next year...Nope don't know of any place like that o_O

To that end, could Bradley make late match capitulation and set piece defending any worse? Ahh, snap.

Bob leaves Norway for rumored to be Ligue 2 side Le Havre. He leaves Stabaek in great shape as they have qualified for Europa next season and have a chance to finish 2nd in the Norwegian league in his last match in charge this weekend....Standing O!!!

EDIT: Just looked at the Ligue 2 table, and his new club (if true) is only 3 points of the pace for promotion to the France top flight.

First match in charge for BB at Le Harve. Who would've ever guessed we'd be paying attention to the Ligue Part Deux??

Article on Bradley turning up the intensity in training. Just looking at the scorelines they've had and it seems attacking options are limited, but Le Harve chalked up their second straight 1-nil win yesterday to get them with 2 points of promotion.

They've still got their work cut out for them though. They're only in the third position due to goal differential and there are three other teams within four points. Their schedule seems favorable.

Would love to Bradley in Ligue 1

A loss and a draw have dropped Le Havre to 4th - 3 points behind 3rd. Three games to go. I set my football app to alert me regarding their final three matches. I don't know crap about the French leagues but I'm intrigued to see what happens.
