Can't find the pic (it was either FB or Twitter) now but a City fan sitting behind the Scum bench was dressed as a doctor today.

The two worst words in the Premier League in recent years...defending champions.

That Everton keeper looks good. I wonder if he'll get an international match any time soon.

That Aston Villa keeper has looked pretty dodgy. Particularly when he's coming out to punch.

I often wonder how Guzan would perform if he had as many as three competent defenders in front of him. We may never know the answer to that question.

I agree with that but I don't know how much it affects him mistiming his punches. He whiffed on one so bad he punched a Leceister player in the head this weekend. He flapped around like an angry goose at a couple of others as well. Maybe it is a confidence thing, but his timing & control look off.

Have paid very little attention to the Prem, but did see the club leading the league play Liverpool yesterday. It is indeed Leicester City ahead by 3 points of Citeh, 5 of Arse & Spuds, and 10 ahead of ManU. While I expect them to eventually fade, to still be leading in Feb after nearly 2/3's of the season done is simply amazing. One thing stood out immediately...they got pace for days. The goal by Vardy was a thunderbolt. Come on you Foxes!!!

I'd love it if Leicester City won the thing. If Ranieri isn't the coach of the year, no one should be.

I've watched enough of Leicester to say they are a talented bunch, play organized football and luck be damned (what can I do, my lil' guy enjoys the premier league and la liga and mls and...).

Vardy's goal was brilliant - no touch volley from 30 yards; reminded me of this:

One great benefit of getting older and unable to sleep in on the left coast is the early Prem match, which was a classic North London derby. Even better was both teams shared the spoils and the little train Leicester City behind a great goal from Mahrez snagged all 3 points at Watford.

    it was fun, wasn't it?

Oh, and for those of us who decided to record Southhampton v. Sunderland while listening to Fulham, you should know that Yedlin's performance today was not out of the ordinary over the last month. BBC gave him MOtM. I don't know if I'd go that far, but he did a brilliant job today.

I hear you SCJ - I was up early b/c it was just pouring rain here and I couldn't sleep - so I watched Spurs / Gunners and it was entertaining (thereafter I followed Fulham's score on the phone whilst I whisked around kids to various activities).

Palace and 'Pool - I watched the end of that one - the "penalty" on Benteke was soft. Contact? Barely, but that's a hard one for the Eagles to swallow.

Palace played way too soft after the Milner red card. They sat back and let two mistakes (one was actually a slip) bite them in the end.

Watched Leicester City grind out another 3 points in a 1-0 win over Southampton. Their work rate is amazing. Only problem that luckily didn't come back to haunt was the 5 minutes of stoppage given in the 2nd half. It was 2 minutes more than what should've been given. I'm sure every Fox fan was wondering if the ref responsible was a closet Tottenham fan.

I also watched the amazing Foxes outduel the Saints. Don't think most casual footy fans, or even sports fans in general, in the States get how big this is. If they hang on, and there's every indication to believe that they will, it would be the biggest miracle in sport...ever. If you've watched Rog Bennett's story about their recent history, well, it's just a bloody miracle. Even Ranieri was admitting early on that the goal this season was merely to stay up.

The most interesting Prem season in ages marches on with Leicester & Tottenham victories. With the aforementioned clubs 1 & 2 and West Ham in 6th, I just can't help but wonder how Hodgson & Hughes' FFC squads would have fared in this campaign.

After watching today's match, I also can't help but wonder if FFC supporters (particularly in England) still feel Dembele made a massive mistake in moving.
