Sounds like Millwall don't fit the typical Holloway bill, but closed out the season well under his stewardship and have gotten off to a good start this year. I think we'll still struggle to put it together offensively while the team gels so I'll go with a 1-1 draw.

Here's the link to Magath's press conference. http://www.radiojackie.com/redbutton/index.asp?singlepodcast=603

Sounds like Roberts won't start. Magath says he's small & still growing "zo we need to protect him more and probably use him as a sub." Confirms that players like Ruiz and Mitro who aren't expected to be with the team all year won't play. He also stated they weren't looking to bring anyone else in.

I guess it's going to be Gentleman Jim at 0900 tomorrow PLUS chatroom. Hope some folks will be there.

I'm getting a late start to this season. I missed last week's match and will miss the next three (I think) due to being on a research vessel in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. We have satellite internet this clocks in slightly faster than your basic dial-up so I'm able to read the forums and check the scores but haven't really been able to immerse myself in football yet.

    Enjoy GJ and the chat.

My dart board claims a 2-1 victory for Fulham.

    Cheers.

Here's to your dart board Evan. I will be missing the live broadcast in favor of an early morning high school JV scrimmage and then installing a laminate floor. I hope the chat room is rewarded with first 3 points for the young season.

Hope you have better luck than we did last weekend. I'll be watching Everton/Leicester. I think I'll get more from watching the match (w/ GJ's commentary) than just listening to him live and I don't want to do both. Now hopefully the Offal will have the delayed broadcast up in a way that I don't run into a spoiler of the result in the process.

eh, disappointing, but more of the same of what we saw last week.

think we're a step or so away from something really great; just unsure how close/far that step is...

We could've done with a point, especially with some of the chances we created; McCormack, Hugo and Roberts to name a few. In my opinion, we've made so many changes that it's hardly surprising we are still 'gelling'.

On a somewhat related point, how is everyone finding the full match review on Sunday? Any comments, thoughts or improvements? We get them up as soon as the 'hold back' period expires and will do so throughout the season.

The last stream available was of better video quality than the previous one. I guess most people who wait to see the replay "Live" are trying to figure how to get that link without knowing the result.

Someone just emailed me about this today, if we get enough requests we can probably look at setting up a distribution for fans who are watching it 'live' the next day.

If you want to something outstanding set up a live replay time with a chat room. Boom goes.the dynamite. Your welcome by the way.

Perhaps an email request? Put up a link where people can request the video link be forwarded to them once it's available?

I think I could rig something like that up for FUSA members, if the Fulhamfc site couldn't.

If anything, you've saved this fan's...fandom.

Seriously I was about to jump ship not in petulance but because in this day/age not being able to fully follow your team/hobby/etc is well, you, know where I'm going.

You and everyone deserve a lot of credit for implementing such a progressive and, especially, free setup.

    Thank you so much!

Love having the replay and appreciated this week's better video quality. Not sure how much sway you have with those who produce the video, but many of the shots were zoomed in too far this week. It led to a lot of panning to follow the ball. A shot with more of the field in view will make it easier to follow the match. Also the cameras ideally should be on the same side of the field. Cutting to a shot on the other side of the field can be a bit jarring. That's all for my complaining! Thank you for the video!

Just so you are all aware, the quality of the video is very much dependent on the home and away matches and who are opposition is. You see, it is up to the clubs to sort out the camera angles, not to mention how many cameras are going to be available. For example, the likes of Rotheram, Brentford, etc. won't spend much money on this at their own grounds thus the video we get at the end will reflect this (only one camera is mandatory btw). We invested in three cameras at our own cost to make sure we could provide a better quality for our home matches as well as better highlights.

With that, I'll bring up the email distribution list for highlights to see if we can do something - chat room might be a push since someone could join and ruin it for everyone quite easily!

Keep any ideas coming for anything/everything. We're all ears.

Fantastic Mike! Thanks for checking into the email subscription service and explaining the video and camera angles and shots.

I guess my next question is in regards to the video replays during the match. Are they done during the match or afterwards? I notice a few didn't really highlight what they were trying to--some slight hiccups on those. Is that something that employees are learning on the fly?:)

Heather, if you are saying we could have a synchronized chat window/replay time that would be outstanding. I would even volunteer to moderate the chat room when available.
