TapaTalk/Forum Reader for Driod

Postby SCFulhamFan » Thu Jan 26, 2012 8:23 am

Well instead of updating my tv I went for a new phone. I see a lot of "posted from tapatalk" these days. Is that really the best out there? Pricey, but if it is worth it/get what you pay for I will drop the cash. Any worthy alternatives?

Not sure. I've always been tempted to download it, but I wonder how much better off it is than just your smartphone's browser with forums. Plus, not all forums have tapatalk installed on their forums.

Downloaded it and it does consolidate the posts in a more visually appealing format. Is this difficult to install? I see on their website where phpBB is supported.

Not sure. Most of the extra stuff has been pretty easy to install. But I need to tidy this board up a bit before I add anything else. Plus, we don't have a lot users who surf this site with mobile devices. I think the most has 7 or 8 users a day with a mobile? But if there is a strong demand, I will look into it.

You've sold me! Posting from tapatalk right now!

I actually post on a few forums so this will be pretty helpful when I'm on the go.

Is it worth it? I'm in my phone's browser now and it kinda sucks.

Yeah, it's works a lot better. Although, every time I use tapatalk I want to rearrange the site to have less forums, but that doesn't seem to be a popular idea.

Still use tapatalk very regularly to check in on the forums when I'm on the go. I still do most of my posting on the computer but it's nice to at least check out the updates easily.

Thanks! I'll give it a try later today. It's easier for me to check in from my phone, versus on a computer.
