Don't mess with the Quakes and Wondo - beauty of a chip and header for the third

Yay! DCUnited! Not exactly ideal conditions and NY had a nightmare in defending. But I'll take a 4-1 scoreline over New York any day.

Enjoyed NY's loss. Liverpool and the energy drinks, the two teams I most love to see lose.

Yeah, Thierry looked like somebody had beaten his dog. Wonder what's going through his mind these days on such a wretched team...

Check out Gus Johnson on the call for the Earthquakes and their last-second win. Turns out the law of Gus Johnson applies to soccer as well lol

In other news, I wish the Crew still had Lenhart

And DC United are on a winning streak. It's been awhile since that last happened. :banana-dance:

Not sure how much longer the coach of the Timbers will still have the gig, but 2 more late goals given up, and now rock bottom in standings isn't condusive to long term security.

Come on you 'Quakes!!! DVR'd the match on Saturday and watched it on Sunday morning. Lenhart and Chavez were beasts after they came on. The Quakes may not be a fluke after all - their back 5 are solid and Wondo is out of his mind.

I must say I'm pleasantly surprised by the Quakes so far this season (even though I'm still bitter towards Lenhart from last month), as well as with Gus Johnson's call. It'll be nice when we no longer have to equate great commentating with an english accent. My Sounders have been incredibly defensively sound since that horrific night in Mexico. Might be going to the match this wednesday to see if we can exorcise our demons against LA.

Can't believe I actually had to go through a ticket broker to get a Dynamo ticket for the opening home match. Excited to see the new grounds though. Very limited tailgaiting which is a huge bummer. I told Mo that Ching would never don Orange again, but I was obviously wrong. He should be really amped up for that game. Should be a great day. Looking forward to it and ending this huge 'road trip'.

Quakes on 22 points - top in the league and on a 7-match unbeaten streak. Sorry about DC United, Heather. :D

I guess three in a row was too much to ask from United.

Went to the Sounders - Galaxy match last night. I must say, without Beckham and Keane on the field, the Gals are very mediocre side. Their midfield was atrocious and the Cristman Barrett pairing is not effective in the slightest. Although once Magee came on they started getting a few good chances. Magee has to be the most underrated player in all of MLS in my opinion (can even play keeper! haha). I realize that despite being a Sounders fan my analysis has been mostly of LA, but that's because it was really a case of their "reserve" squad being that poor rather than the Sounders playing lights out as it were. Well there's also this:

Yeah.. me too. It would be part of incentive to go to a game, even one likely lost. He's just fun to watch.

But the problems is not that Lenhart isnt here, it's that Warzycha still is. My antipathy is long lived from his days as a player and he hasnt resolved it, in my eyes.
