Liverpool v. Fulham

Postby DCHeather » Mon Apr 30, 2012 8:00 am

Tomorrow at 2:45pm EST, on Espn 2 and 3.

After getting hammered at the Goodison will Fulham play any better at Anfield? I hope so.

I would hope that the reason the captain didn't play until the 66th was saving him for the quick turnaround to his former club. I would also hope professional pride alone would produce a better performance, but it is Fulham away from CC.

After being optimistic about this Merseyside stretch, I am no longer optimistic after the Everton result. We will probably get hammered again which will mean I will need to get hammered so I don't get all pissed off.

We'll do better than Saturday. Liverpool will not do as well -- what with the Cup Final coming on Saturday.

I think we steal this one 0-1 -- Hangeland with the goal FINALLY

Not optimistic about this one, but it should be better than our last abomination. I'll be in the chatroom hoping for the best.

I'd be happy if we just score a goal. Also would be happy with conceding under 4 goals. Improvement is improvement no matter how slight it is...

I believe that fulfills my pessimism quota for the day.

Bound to play better than at Goodison, but good enough to win.....probably not. 1-2 bad guys.

Yet another doctor's appointment at kickoff time, but I plan to watch the DVR when I get home and, if time allows, I'll do a report on our victory!

Scored a goal (even if it was by the other team) and let in less than 4... plus three points on the road. I am a happy man with this result. When has our road form ever been this good across the season? I can't recall winning more than one or two a season aside from our amazing run back in '08.

Ugh! Forgot to record it this morning before heading to work. I hate when work gets in the way of my soccer viewing! How does everyone else manage to watch so often during the work week?

Still thrilled to hear about the victory and will be anxious to check out the highlights. COYW!!!!
