Through a third source ... U16 Fulham vs U18 Talent Team (not sure what a talent team is made of) ... Fulham side won 5 - 3, with Clark scoring two goals.

Thanks for the update. Good news.

Do you have any knowledge as to whether this belongs in the Yanks Abroad thread or should it be moved to the Fulham News section ;)

Could of sworn he went to Blackburn a long time ago, but oh well.

Never have been a big fan of his game, but good for him.

As for some rumors, Tim Ream to Bolton and George John to West Ham.

And it looks like Stabæk might be selling Mix Diskerud to Lillestrøm as Stabæk are having huge financial problems.

Thanks Joe for confirming the Rogers and John moves.

If you notice on the previous page Mo and Lax discuss the Rogers move and potential snafu.

Hoping all these guys make the move, I think it help all of them improve.

Edson Buddle

Is apparently getting a tryout with Everton. Seems he has the same agent as Donovan and Howard, according to the Guardian.

Current Chivas USA forward who is on loan to a team in the Belgian Second Division, Tristan Bowen, scored a goal this weekend (17:22 mark):

Interesting. He's been scoring goals in the German second division. I didn't realize that he was already 30, though. Good on him if he can impress and make a permanent move.

Clevelandmo wrote:I'm happy about the Rogers to Leeds move. Leeds is one of the teams I follow. I've always thought Rogers has some abilities that really set him apart from most in the MLS. I've also never really seen the bad performances for the US that others have, and can remember several good performances with key contributions. Grayson said as soon as the permit is approved he will have immediate opportunities with the first team so he's going to get his chance. Best of luck Robbie.

In other news Sochaux has made a second bid for Maurice Edu after Rangers rejected the first one.

Rogers' work permit was approved. Now just needs visa and international clearance. Grayson says he will go straight into his first team plans. Sounds as if Klinsmann had a hand in this deal, possibly even helped as far as getting the work permit despite not automatically qualifying. He probably wont be able to play this weekend v. Ipswich town so his first action might be at home v. B'ham. Spector v. Rogers would be worth watching.

Thanks for posting Mo, while I've never been a Rogers fan, he's still only 24, and there is plenty of time for him to improve. Obviously Der Kaiser likes him and has him in his plans.

Goff is tweeting that EJ is being shopped around in Europe. Considering he was out of shape for Mexico, what chance does he have going back to Europe?

Edson Buddle, who spent last week on trial at Everton, has gone to Belgium with a view to signing for Westerlo, according to a representative of the club.

Speaking to American website Yanks Abroad, Tom Nelsen said, ”We are looking to give him a contract. We’ve looked at videos of him and know that he is a talented player.

“At the moment everything is arranged with his German team,” Nelsen continued. “And we are sure he can be a big star for us.”

“Right now he is undecided about signing for the team. He is looking at his options. We don’t know what his plans are but we are trying to convince him to come and play for us.”

Anybody know anything about this club, Westerlo?

Gooch went beast mode and scored two goals this weekend -> http://www.socceroverthere.com/?p=8084

Beasley scored down in Mexico. I always think he is really old, but he is just 29.

Fabian Johnson scored for Hoffenhim -> http://www.socceroverthere.com/?p=8058
